Regis John Yuhas, 67, of Duquesne, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in UPMC Montefiore. Born on June 7, 1951, in McKeesport, he was the son of the Late Joseph John Yuhas and Virginia Marie Colby. Mr. Yuhas honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Yuhas enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, and watching baseball. He especially loved the music of CCR. He is survived by his loving brother and sister, Daniel (Yvonne) Yuhas and Cheryl (David) McGeehan, and several nieces and nephews who will sorely miss him. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Karen Yuhas Reilly.

Charles M. Roman, 30, of West Homestead, died suddenly February 28, 2019 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Pittsburgh, August 29, 1988, he was the son of Charles W. and Robin (Dumas) Roman. Mr. Roman was an employee of G.N.C. Wellness, an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also committed to fitness, health and well-being. He is survived by his loving parents, a brother, Anthony Roman, his maternal grandfather, Harry W. Dumas, his paternal grandmother, Yvonnie (Fullard) Roman and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Private Family services will take place in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., 828 Richford St., Duquesne.

(Yarnovich) Jenco, 78, of West Mifflin died peacefully at home on Monday, February 25th, 2019.  Born on April 21st, 1940, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kopolovich) Yarnovich.  Mrs. Jenco was a member of S.S. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne, The Parish Club, GCW Woman’s Club, Secretary for Riverview Homes Association, a former member, and Recording and Financial Secretary for the Duquesne Junior Tamburitzans, and a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi,  Lauriate Delta Chapter, having served as the past President, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary.

Kocur, 67, of Windermere, Florida, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.  Born May 3, 1951, in McKeesport, PA and raised in Duquesne, PA he was the son of the late John and Anna  Galajda Kocur.  John was a Mechanical Engineer and worked for Aramco Oil Company in Houston, Texas and Saudi Arabia. He was the beloved husband of Mogie Kocur and the loving father of his daughter Sasha.  He is survived by his brother Ronald Kocur and sister Carol (Peter) Barsotti, sister-in-law Lynn Kocur and nieces and nephews.  He was also preceded in death by a brother Ernest.

Andrew G. Vamos, 84, of Duquesne, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Born April 7, 1934, in West Mifflin, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Helen (Medar) Vamos. Mr. Vamos was a faithful member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne and a retired employee  of Rennekamp Builders Supply Company and George M. Hall Lumber Company. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Lesko) Vamos, he is survived by his loving daughter, Barbara Elaine McDonnell (Dedris Davis) of McKeesport, two grandchildren, Cassandra and Krystian McDonnell, a great granddaughter, Arya Bisgoni, two brothers, Edward Vamos of Munhall and Raymond Vamos of Eighty-Four, and a sister, Elaine Tiboni of Export. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Vamos.

Jordan, she is survived by her loving daughter Shawna (R.J.) Bobick, two sisters, Stephanie (Ted) Stojanoff and Robin (Chuck) Roman, two adored grandchildren, Aubree and Jordan Bobick, her step-father, Harry W. Dumas and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a brother, Harry A. Dumas. Mrs. Jordan loved caring for her family.

Loretta "Tootsie" "Lorrie" Struiff, 82, of West Mifflin, died Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Duquesne, July 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Benedict and Mary (Artim) Unites. While Mrs. Struiff was primarily a homemaker, she was an instructor for the Arthur Murray Dance Studio and later in life became a published author. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph "Al " Struiff Jr., a daughter, Lynn Koza, and a granddaughter, Amanda Faux, she is survived by her loving daughter, Leslie Faux, five grandchildren, Casey Koza Turbeville (Michael), Randi Koza, Adam O'Hara, Sara Faux (Brian Bakey), and Joseph Aaron Faux, and two great grandchildren, Madisyn Faux and Nolan Bakey.

Mr. Hvasta was a retired U.S. Steel employee of the 100 inch mill, Homestead Works, an Usher in Holy Trinity Church, and  a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.. He was the beloved husband of Virginia (Miller) Hvasta, he is also survived by a daughter, Valerie (Paul) Lyle; two sons, Vincent and Raymond (Theresa) Hvasta; two grandsons, Max and Jacob Hvasta; and two granddaughters, Katie and Emme Lyle.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hvasta.

Timothy S. Nesiti Sr., 87, of West Mifflin, died peacefully, Monday, December 17, 2018 in Southwestern Veterans Center, Pittsburgh. Born April 7, 1931, in West Mifflin, he was the son of the late Stephan and Mary Nesiti. Mr. Nesiti was a retired yard master for Zeigler Lumber Company, Duquesne, a retired cashier for Monzak's Auto Service,  a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and an avid bluegrass musician playing guitar and singing lead vocals in several bands. His signature song was "Rattlesnake and Daddy" that can be heard on the Dixie Traveler's album FREE WHEELING. In his retirement, he liked to fish and sit in his cabana with a rub of snuff monitoring the neighborhood listening to bluegrass music. He was the beloved husband of the late Geraldine (Castro) Nesiti, he is survived by three loving sons, Timothy S.  Jr. (Lynda), Dana (Mary Ann), and James J. Sr. (the late Deena) Nesiti; two grandsons, James J. Jr., and Nicholas Nesiti, and several nieces.

Mary “Candy” Klotz

Mary “Candy” Klotz, 92, most recently of Silver Spring, MD, passed away in her sleep on November 28, 2018, surrounded by those she loved. Born in McKeesport, PA, to the late Michael and Berthe “Bessie” Sidor Wargo, Mary was a resident of Duquesne for 15 years before moving to Munhall, where she resided with her beloved husband, Michael J. Klotz, until his death in 2011. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church in Duquesne. As a homemaker, Mary is best remembered for her sparkling clean home, and cooking and baking skills. Family and neighbors looked forward to bountiful platters of homemade cookies and baked goods for the holidays, and it was not uncommon for her to hand-deliver casseroles of her secret macaroni and cheese dish to neighbors throughout the year. Ahead of the times, she practiced yoga and began studying the health benefits of herbs and food as medicine in the 1960’s.

Dennis Edward Forgash, 64, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on November 20, 2018 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.

Born on June 5, 1954 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and raised in Duquesne, PA, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Sudzina Forgash and Walter Forgash.  Dennis worked with Roberts Oxygen and was associated with other gas companies throughout his career.  He enjoyed playing golf, doing yard work, being a handyman, rooting for Jeff Gordon, his favorite NASCAR fan and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Dennis was of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Walter E. Forgash.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife and companion Janis D. Lafont; children Claire Johns and her husband Mike, Douglas Lafont and his wife Lee Ann; grandchildren Otis Robert Johns, Dayton Michael Lafont and Dylan Michael Lafont; brother David Forgash and his wife Carol Ann; nephew David A. Forgash and his wife Dawn; former spouse Sharon Fairhust; other relatives and friends.

(Lipnicky) Foremsky. Mr. Foremsky was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Mr. Foremsky had a M.B.A. Degree from Duquesne University and was a retired accountant from U.S. Steel Corporation, Universal Atlas Cement Company, and General Refractory's. He also was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan. He is survived by a brother, Robert Foremsky of Delmont and several cousins.

Mr. Radakovich was a member of Christ, Light of the World Parish in Duquesne and a Retired Union Carpenter. He is survived by his beloved wife Florence (Jacobs) Radakovich; two sons, Ronald (Anna) Radakovich and Dave Radakovich, both of West Mifflin; a daughter, Marsha (Scott) Hess of North Versailles; and three grandchildren, Eric and Brian Radakovich and Chelsea Hess. He was also preceded in death by a brother James Radakovich.
