Dorothy S. Gaudy, 86, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023. She was born October 20, 1936 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late George V. and Mary (Midlo) Spisak. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick Church in Christy Park, and was a life member of the McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. Dorothy was a Private Duty Nurse and later retired as an Operating Room Nurse at McKeesport Hospital. With over 40 years of service, many of her colleagues became life long friends. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed needlepoint, ceramics and baking.

Raymond "Ray" Reitz, 66, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was born in McKeesport on February 9, 1957 and was the son to the late Larry and Irene (Flemming) Reitz. Ray was the proprietor of Ray's Painting. He enjoyed golfing, and was always such a hard worker. He is survived by his son, Shane (Shelby Ruschak) Reitz of Elizabeth Township, his loving sisters, his companion, Sherry Bonacci, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Reitz, and his sister, Karen Penn. Eleanor "Tally" Plummer, 92, of Greenock, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023. She was born in McKeesport on July 11, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Cheaser and Elizabeth (Hayes) Talavinia. She was also the wife to the late Jack K. Plummer, who passed away October 14, 1995. Tally was a long time member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a past member of the Elizabeth Township Historical Society, and enjoyed puzzle books, jig-saw puzzles, and crocheting. Through the years, Tally crocheted over 400 lap quilts for patients in nursing homes and hospitals in the surrounding areas. She kept track of every quilt she ever made; even down to the colors and stitch pattern she used.

Barbara Ann Snyder Esper, 83 of North Huntingdon died Thursday July 6th, 2023 at Forbes Hospital. She was born in Clairton on February 7th, 1940 to the late William Snyder and Agnes Catherine Snizik Goldsworthy. She is survived by her sister Denise Goldsworthy Petrik of Glassport, as well as her cat Simba and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by her sister Dolores Snyder Eitleman and her step father John Goldsworthy. She was a member of the Diocese of Pittsburgh in Natrona Heights and also worked as a cook for the Diocese. Barbara enjoyed vacationing at the beach, showing off her dance moves while listening to music and always cherished family get togethers. Arrangements have been entrusted to E.C. Mary Ann Geary, 84, of Glassport, died July 3, 2023.  She is the daughter of the late Paul Frank and Stefania Skrabak and beloved wife of the late Stephen A. Geary.  She is survived by her daughter Debra Knor; sons Russell (Mary Ann) Geary, Darrell Geary and Chris (Stacy) Geary; grandchildren Josh, Stephen, Jen, Dan, Russ, Jonathan, Mitchell, Taylor, Tristan, Noah and Gabriella; great grandchildren Leeann, Stella, Dorothy, Otis, Paisley, Ansen, Owen, Ian, Ethan, Allice and Emmylou; brother Frank (Mary Helen) Skrabak and her dear cat Pooh.  She was the former owner/operator of Geary Distributing and Party-Rama and was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.  Funeral arrangements by the Wojciechowski  Funeral Home, Glassport.  A private visitation was held.

Thomas Victor "Chopper" Snyir, 82, of White Oak passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was born in Duquesne on October 27, 1940 and was the son to the late William and Elizabeth (Demeter) Snyir. Tom graduated Duquesne University with a Bachelor's in Architecture and worked as a production manager for US Steel for many years. He was also a US Army Veteran, which led him into becoming intrigued with WWII History. Chopper was a member of American Legion #701 in White Oak, as well as a member of 'Pagans Motorcycle Club,' and the 'Chosen Few.'Eventually, he became the owner of Tom's Auto Body Shop in McKeesport, and the President of Street Life Car Club, where Tom was able to put his passion to work for restoring old cars; which a few made into 'Hot Rod' magazine and won 'Peoples Choice Awards' for their complete customizations he created. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, watching horror movies, going hunting, and he loved dancing.

Gloria (Kruki) Graham, age 82, of Elizabeth, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at UPMC McKeesport. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth where she was very active and a former deacon. Born April 17, 1941 in Monongahela, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Rapp) Kruki and wife of the late William L. Graham Sr. She is survived by sons, William L. "Skip" (Michele) Graham Jr. of Clairton and Terry (Joyce) Graham of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Brandi Graham, Max (Lauren) Graham, Marie (Jordan) Armstrong and Maggie Graham; seven great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. Shirley Mae Hanna

Shirley Mae Hanna, 89, of McKeesport, died July 3, 2023.  She is the daughter of the late Clarence and Mae (Scally) Howell and beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Hanna.  She is survived by her daughter Tracy (David) Enscoe; son Timothy (Nicole) Hanna; grandson Eric (Rebekah) Hanna and great granddaughter Alana Townes. She was affectionately known as "Aunt Sis" to her numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Thomas, James and Emmanuel "Bud" Howell.  Shirley was a retired Contract Analyst for US Steelworker's Union and was a member of the Beulah Park United Methodist Church.  Shirley enjoyed going to the Renzie Park concerts with her church friends. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Steelers and Pirates.  Friends will be received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Friday from 2 to 8 and on Sat. from 9:30 to 10:30 am.  A funeral service will be held Sat. 11:00 am at the Beulah Park United Methodist Church with Pastor Kathleen Barnhart.  Interment following McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Ronald McDonald House or Shriners Hospital.

Kerklo, age 86, of Liberty Borough, died July 2, 2023, at AHN Jefferson Hospital.  Born November 20, 1936, in Clairton, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah Jane (Plaster) Randolph and the wife of the late Donald C. Kerklo.  Lavina was a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church.  She was an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Bible School Director at church.  Lavina was involved in many community activities and was always ready to help someone in need.  She was a councilwoman in Liberty Borough for over 28 years.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Lavina is survived by children, Donnajo (Michael) Couch and Dean Alan Kerklo; grandchildren, Kimberly Joelle Couch, Kellie Lynn Couch, and Elisha (Kerklo); brother, Carl (Janet) Randolph, of Trenton, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth C. “Betty” Krasman, age 95, of West Mifflin, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, in St. Clair Hospital. Born in Duquesne on September 7, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Krasman and Mary Gabrielcik Krasman. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Anna (late Earl) Oyler Mary Krasman, Frances Krasman, Andrew (late Louise) Krasman, Albert (late Ethel, late Bernadine) Krasman, John (late Montrue) Krasman, William (late Helen) Krasman, Daniel Krasman and Theodore “Ozzie” Krasman. After 35 years of service, she retired from U.S. Steel-Homestead Works, in the Secretarial Unit. Betty was member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, going out to dinner and watching the Steelers and Pro Golfers. She is survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM, in Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, with Rev. Daniel D'Antonio, officiating. Visitation with the family will take place in Church, prior to the Mass, from 9:30-10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin. Joe Ginter, 43, of North Huntingdon, beloved father, uncle, son, brother, and friend passed away suddenly on July 1, 2023. He was born December 29, 1979 in Greensburg, a son of Terry Cook Ginter and Joseph Ginter. Joe was a graduate of Hempfield High School Class of '98. In his spare time Joe enjoyed watching scary movies and wrestling, collecting action figures, and playing video games especially Call of Duty. Despite his sometimes gruff demeanor, Joe was a genuine softie and family man. If given the opportunity he would gladly skip his hobbies to spend time with his family. He never passed on any chance to tell those he cared about that he loved them. Joe is survived by his wife, Brie; children, Alli, Cameron and Chloe; brother, Nick.
