It is with profound sadness, Sydney Ann Allenberg (Kleya) passed away with her family by her side on October 14, 2023 in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on September 22, 1990 in Pittsburgh, PA, Sydney was the beloved daughter of Michael “Boe” and Honi (Mendlowitz) Kleya. A few years later, Sydney became the loving sister of Jacob Kleya of Monroeville and Nathan (Rebecca Schorr) Kleya of McMurray. Sydney is predeceased by her father, Michael “Boe” Kleya, maternal grandfather, Sylvan Mendlowitz, and paternal grandparents, Julius and Helen (Przybyla) Kleya. She is survived by her mother, siblings, maternal grandmother, Blossom Mendlowitz, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

George Louis Trombola, age 89, of Conneaut Lake, formerly of McKeesport and Irwin, died on Saturday, October 14, 2023. He was born in McKeesport on May 21, 1934 and is the son of the late George and Elizabeth Hando Trombola. George received his bachelor’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania and retired from Westinghouse Electric as a production supervisor, where he was employed for over 35 years. He had been a member of the former Transfiguration of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport, currently a member of Our Lady, Queen of the Americas Parish and the Iroquois Boating and Fishing Club, both in Conneaut Lake.

Stacie L. Ammer, age 60, of Port Vue, died October 12, 2023. Born July 17, 1963, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Fae (Black) Leber and the late Ronald Leber, Sr.
Stacie was a Registered Nurse for McKeesport Hospital, a traveling IV Nurse, and a Home Care Nurse. Her compassion for others perfectly fit her profession, and she brought comfort and care to many. Stacie enjoyed being outdoors in nature, boating, and going to car shows in the summer. Her big heart was not only felt by the people in her life but by her pets including her son's dog, Winter. Stacie's smile lit up the room.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her beloved son, Nick (Aleece Edwards) Ammer; brothers, Ronald Leber, Jr., Shawn (Patty) Leber, and Jered (Jacki Silberman) Leber; nephews, Michael (Lauren) Leber, Jake (Jordan) Leber, Jered (Nikki) Leber, Jr., and Brandon (Elizabeth) Leber; niece, Roni Leber; great-nieces, Evie, Allie, Benson and Zoey and Alan Mondak was a beloved partner for many years and a constant source of love, support and joy in her life.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, baby Jessica, and a brother, Raymond Leber.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date.

Charles Patrick “Pat” Riley, age 66, of Liberty Borough, died on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born in McKeesport on December 22, 1956 and is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Luke Riley. He proudly served in the United States Army, Special Forces Groups for 16 years, where he was involved in numerous combat missions. He was a pathfinder and learned crime scene investigations skills while in the military. He later retired as a police officer, where he served many different communities. Charles was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, as well as a former member of the Freemasons. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed all outdoor activities. He also played football in high school and enjoyed watching it all his life. He was a true lover of music, had own band at one time, and wrote a top 10 song when he was 17 years old.

Cheyenne A. Ignat (McKelvey), 76, of Dravosburg, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 after a long hard battle with cancer. She was born October 4, 1947 and was daughter of the late Jim and Betty McKelvey, of Dravosburg. Cheyenne was a hairdresser by trade and a volunteer by nature. She was a life member at the Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Department No. 1, a board member at the Dravosburg Housing Association, an active member at Holy Name Church in Duquesne, and involved in many different cancer charities. Cheyenne spent her life doing for others, she was the epitome of a lover and a fighter. She was “fondly” known as the Boss Lady, and she took that title very seriously. She wanted to have her hand in everything and help out anyway she could. To anyone who met Cheyenne along the way, she made you feel you meant as much to her as she meant to you. We will all remember her as Larger than Life!

Anthony W. Gallaher, age 41, of McKeesport, died October 8, 2023. Born November 18, 1981, in McKeesport, he was the son of Jack (Annette Leitzell) Gallaher and Antonietta (Chiaverini) Stolic. Anthony graduated from McKeesport Area High School in 2000, where he was First Team All-Conference in football and a State Qualifier in the shot put. After high school, Anthony attended Lehigh University on a football scholarship.
He enjoyed home remodeling with his father, cooking meals for family and friends, and taught Culinary Arts at McKeesport High School for many years. He also worked for his Stepfather at Wagner Development as a superintendent.
Anthony’s smile was infectious. He loved his family and always made sure to let them know any time he saw them as well as give everyone one of his big bear hugs.

Catherine U. Argyle, age 80 of Trafford died October 12, 2023 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born December 23, 1942 in McKeesport, Pa., a daughter of the late James and Mary Cardwell Newton. Catherine was a member of the Trafford Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a great mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas in 2004. She is survived by two daughters, Tierney and Patricia Argyle, two brothers, Kenneth and Gerald Newton, two sisters, Margaret Munsie and Charlotte Newton, two grandchildren, Kaleb and Kyra. Lillian Alberta (Hall) Gergley, age 90 of Jefferson Hills, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Born August 12, 1933 in Neville Island, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Winnifred (Brown) Hall. She was a former Secretary for US Steel Clairton Works in Clairton, a member of the Anglican Church of the Transfiguration in Elizabeth, a member the Eastern Star Lodge, formerly in Clairton, and card club. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John R. Gergley, Jr., who passed away October 17, 2016. She is survived by her daughters Linda (Mark) Withrow of Clairton, Donna Shaffer of Clairton, and Debra (Bill) Maurizio of Pleasant Hills; grandchildren Nathan J. (Athena) Withrow, Kaitlin D. (Dan) McKenzie, Ryan (Kate) Shaffer, Nico Maurizio, and Gabriella (Gabriel) Mezzaluna; great-grandchildren, Daniel Shaffer, Lillian Shaffer, Stanley McKenzie, and Willow Withrow; brother-in-law Michael (Joyce) Gergley of Glassport, sister-in-law Edna Hall of Wylie, TX; extended family/daughter #4 Valerie DeBellis; and nieces and nephews. Helen B. Widen, age 93, of North Huntingdon, died October 9, 2023, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born February 19, 1930, in Daisytown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Dudash and wife of the late Carl H. Widen. Helen "Betty" worked until she was 80 years old, cleaning various homes. She also took meticulous care of her home, caring for the yard and tending to her flower garden. Her favorite flowers were the peonies and roses, with some of the roses being transplanted from her mother's garden. Betty always had a smile on her face anytime her grandchild and great-grandchildren were around. She loved them dearly. Betty is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Dennis) Englert; granddaughter, Courtney (Corey) Williams; great-grandsons, Cameron and Conor. Dennis Charles Husok, 68, of West Newton, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023. He was born in McKeesport on August 6, 1955 and was the son to the late Andrew and Stella (Szczerba) Husok. Dennis was a member of many clubs - Buena Vista Owls Cub, Versailles Croatian Club, Elizabeth Township Ex-Servicemen's Club - among others. He enjoyed spending his time at these clubs with his friends, but mostly enjoyed the rides on his Harley. Dennis is a Marine Corp Veteran and served from September of 1973 until being honorably discharged in August of 1976. He is survived by his oldest brother, Andrew (Colleen) Husok of Elizabeth Township - their sons, Josh (Chara) Husok, and Jeremy (Allison) Husok with their children, Ashlynn, Brooklynn, Brinley, & Aubrey Husok, also, their daughter, Brandi Husok; his younger brother, Edward Husok of Lincoln Borough with his son, James Husok; and his youngest brother, David (Karolyn) Husok of White Oak - with their daughters, Tiffany Husok, and Tabatha (Joe) Rush, with their children, Joey, McKenna, & Jackson.
