Mark Anthony Muic, age 80, of Port Vue, died on Saturday, May 14, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in McKeesport on October 22, 1941 and is the son of the late Frank and Jean Mazur Muic. He was the co-proprietor of the Spotlight Lounge in Port Vue.

Lawrence "Larry/Red" Wilson, age 88, of Port Vue, died May 16, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport. Born September 19, 1933, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late James and Ellen (Cruden) Wilson and the most loving husband of Emogene (Uhlir) Wilson for over 68 years.

Ronald H. Sheriff, age 76 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family. Born October 10, 1945 in West Mifflin, he was a son of the late Husain and Anna (Roscinko) Sheriff. A US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a retired electrician for US Steel, Clairton Works, Ronald was a social member of the VFW Post # 803 and a former member of Pine Run United Methodist Church, both in Wilson. In his spare time, he enjoyed duck pin bowling at Glassport Lanes, pitching horseshoes, and listening and dancing to doo-wop and oldies. He will be remembered as a very handy "jack-of-all-trades" who was always willing to lend a hand; as an adventurous spirit who was always up for anything; and, most importantly, as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ronald is survived by his wife of 56 years Gale (Mort) Sheriff; his daughters Dawn (Darryl) Asbury of Smyrna, DE, Vanessa (Todd) Cooper of Lewes, DE, and Ronna (James) Patton of Jefferson Hills; his grandchildren Kailyn, Sarah, and Lindsey Asbury, Rebekka (Dustin) Pittman, and Taylor (Spencer) Patton; his great-grandchildren Colton, Carmen, Ava, and Charlea; his brother William Sheriff of West Mifflin; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Marie Magdic, Dorothy Smith, Genevieve Long, and Alice Stevenson.

Matilda A. "Tillie" Gricar age 90, of Versailles, died May 13, 2022, at home. Born May 1, 1932, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena (Chiaverini) Como and the wife of the late Frank A. Gricar.
Tillie was the former co-owner of the Farmer's Fresh in McKeesport. She also worked for Bell Atlantic and was a manager at the Chestnut Inn in her earlier years. Tillie served as a Democratic Committee woman and had a love for politics. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
Tillie is survived by her grandchildren, Charisse (Matthew) Richards and Perry Gricar; great-grandchildren, Xandria, Tabitha, Aryanna, Rilya, Matthew, and Victoria; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

James William Gray, age 74 of West Mifflin, passed away at home on Sunday, May 15, 2022 surrounded by his beloved wife and pets. Born October 1, 1947 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Clifford and Beatrice (Faullert) Gray. James served in the Coast Guard during the Vietnam War, where he worked in search and rescue out of Erie. He retired as a Stationary Engineer for Point Park University and was a member of the Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish (Holy Spirit) in West Mifflin. James is survived by his wife of 34 years Patricia A. "Honey Bunny" Lujetic; sons Jeffrey Gray of Erie, Brian (Lynn) Gray of Erie, and Kevin (Joanna) Gray of Pearland, TX; grandchildren Declan, Matthew, Michael (Janeth), and Megan Gray; first wife Marlene Gray of Erie; sister Joyce Frauens of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law Rayma Gray of Baldwin; brother-in-law David M. Lujetic of Clairton; and niece and nephew Linda and Gary Gray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Gordon Gray. His wife, Patricia will remember her darling husband as the sweetest, kindest, and gentlest man she had ever met. It was her honor and pleasure to be married and care for her “Beloved Stargazer” as long as she did.

Sgt. I. Duane Kucera, 70, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 5, 1951 in McKeesport, son of the late Irvine and Dorris (Mull) Kucera. Prior to his retirement Duane was a police officer for North Huntingdon Township with 40 years of dedicated service.
Duane served as K-9 officer, head of the traffic department and Emergency Response Team and was a member of Hartford Heights Vol. Fire Dept, as well as many other organizations. He was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School Class of '69, served as North Huntingdon Township Commissioner from 2016-2020, and was a member of Allegheny Valley Lodge 39 F.O.P.
Duane was a "jack-of-all-trades" and enjoyed boating and spending time with his family and friends at their camp on the Allegheny River.
Duane fought a long hard battle with cancer, but never lost his sense of humor, remained quick witted and was always telling a joke or two. He was a friend to everyone and always willing to help and offer advice. His angels on earth now have a guardian angel in heaven.

Patrick J. McLaughlin, age 70 of North Huntingdon, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital. Born December 15, 1951 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Charles and Ann (Stinson) McLaughlin. Patrick attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas and worked at the Supervalue warehouse in New Stanton. Patrick was one of a kind, loved by many, and he will be so missed.

Francis J. "Buddy" Sita, age 88 of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born May 10, 1934 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Sanyi) Sita. Buddy worked as a Metallurgical Technical Specialist at Bettis Atomic Power Labs in West Mifflin, attended Beulah Park United Methodist Church in McKeesport, was a member of the White Oak American Legion, and was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America for over fifty years.

Rose "Honey" Judd age 96, of McKeesport, died May 11, 2022, at home. Born September 17, 1925, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Bidner) Yuscinsky.
Rose dedicated her life to caring for her family and was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed shopping and cooking. Rose was such a good soul, and everyone she met loved her.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Sally (Bill) Soles; grandchildren, Keith (Sharon) Soles, Kevin (Lori) Soles, Kimberly Soles, and Kurt (Chrissy) Soles; great-grandchildren, Leila Rose, Lindsey, and Kara; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Wagner; great-grandson, Bradley Soles.

Stanley J. Kielnar, age 96, of McKeesport, died on Sunday, May 15, 2022. He was born in McKeesport on June 28, 1925 and is the son of the late Joseph and Rose Rzetelny Kielnar. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. After the war, he was employed as a laborer at US Steel, Duquesne Works. He was a member and former usher at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church; White Oak American Legion, General Smedley D. Butler, Post 701, White Oak American Legion; and the McKeesport Polish National Alliance Club, Lodge 352.

John Joseph Elash, age 74, of McKeesport, died on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was born in McKeesport on September 28, 1947 and is the son of the late John Andrew and Ann Veronica Jakub Elash. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After the war, he was employed at US Steel in Duquesne, then transferred to Wheeling, WV, then retired at Irvin Works. He was a member of the Jedneto, the First Catholic Slovak Union.

Marian Elaine Acrie, 75, of Pittsburgh, was born August 7, 1946, in Greensburg, Westmoreland. She was the beloved daughter to John and Edna (White) Acrie.
Marian attended Sewickley High School and Westmoreland Community College where she receive her GED and studied in Food Service. Marian worked as a steam presser for a local Laundry Service Company in Irwin PA.
Marian departed this life on May 8, 2022, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by Her, father, John Wilson Acrie, Sr., mother, Edna Mae (White) Acrie, brothers, John Acrie, Jr., Charles Acrie, Edward Acrie, sisters, Charlene Acrie, Mary Gray, Lorraine Acrie, and Thelma Acrie.
