Tressa J. McCorkle, age 81, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Baldwin Health Center. She was a former cafeteria worker at Elizabeth Forward High School. A member of Elizabeth Baptist Church, she enjoyed traveling with her husband. Born May 10, 1940 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Porch) Marks. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David H. McCorkle Sr.; daughter, Suzanne (Douglas) Grimes of Peters Twp.; son, David H. (Elizabeth) McCorkle Jr. of Liberty Borough; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Marks of Fort Pierce, FL; also, nieces and nephews.

Kathy Galasso, age 61, of Liberty Borough, formerly of McKeesport, died February 23, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born March 13, 1960, McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Ulakovic) Tauber and wife of Wayne Galasso. 

Kathy formerly worked for Kane and the Senior Care Plaza in McKeesport.  She enjoyed watching hockey and rooting for the Penguins.  Kathy liked to stay active by walking and playing kickball. She dearly cherished her entire family and spending time with her grandkids. 

In addition to her husband Wayne, she is survived by daughters, Christie (Ryan) Pavlovic, Rose Galasso, and Heather (Brian) Bocetti; grandchildren, Kirsten, Jaydon, Rylee, Norah, and Miranda; sister Terri (the late Denny) Ulichnie and she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Theresa "Terry" Tkac, age 90, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at UPMC Mercy. She retired as a secretary for the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and was a former secretary for the United States Glass Company in Glassport. She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church in Glassport where she was involved with the Rosary Society and Christian Mothers. A long-time poll worker for elections in Blaine Hill, she was a member of the Catholic Daughter's Bowling League, the Divine Redeemer Motherhouse Guild, and Century III Mall AARP.  Born February 9, 1932 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucille (Grabski) Honacki and wife of the late Andrew V. “Panda” Tkac. She is survived by her son, Gary F. Tkac of Live Oak, FL; grandchildren, Andrew Robert (Kristin) Tkac, Erica Tkac, Mary Beth Tkac and Joseph "JJ" Tkac; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 12 Noon at Queen of the Rosary Church with the Rev. Miroslaus Wojcicki officiating. Dorothy M. Kaska, 90 of Clairton, died Feb. 18, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna Garber.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Stanley M. Kaska, her son Alan Kaska and her sister Thelma Goldbaugh.  She is survived by her sons Andrew Grant (Jody), Randy (Yolanta) Kaska and daughter Cindy (Curtis) Tanner along with grandchildren, Noel (Jeff) Skorvan, Joshua, Drew, Amber and Jaden Kaska; also great grandchildren Alexa, Kylie, Ava Skorvan and Julian and Victoria Kaska; also cousins, nieces and nephews.  In addition to being a stay at home mom, Dorothy proudly spent 18 years volunteering at John J. Kane Regional Center in McKeesport.  Friends received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home on Thurs. from 3 to 6. A funeral blessing will be held Fri. at 11:00 am in the funeral home.  Interment following at Lebanon Church Cemetery.

She was born August 19, 1934 in McKeesport and is the daughter of the late Walter and Caroline (Kozdras) Rapczak. Louise worked for Elizabeth Forward School District in the Cafeteria. She was the wife to the late Charles McNeal, who passed away August 4, 2017. Martha Boyle, 94, just shy of her 95th birthday, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at Hempfield Manor.  She was born February 28, 1927 in Homestead, a daughter of the late John and Ann Kuzma.  Martha was a member of St. Agnes Parish and Christian Mother's, and enjoyed reading and traveling especially to the Jersey Shore.  In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, George P. Boyle, and brother, John Kuzma.  She is survived by her daughters, Denise Wesolowski and her husband, Christopher, Francene Melocchi and her husband, Ralph, Jeannine Boyle, Michelle Stuebgen and her husband, Michael, Christy Fenstermacher and her husband, Scott; 8 grandchildren, Anna Wesolowski, Carmen and Sophia Melocchi, Angela Boyle, Emma Stuebgen, Alec, Joel and Aiden Fenstermacher.  Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the James W. Daniel was a fork lift operator for Emsco Pool Company in Irwin and a member of the Croatian Club #3, Versailles. Daniel was a veteran of the United States Army. Along with his mother, he is survived by his brothers John Kubinsky and Mark Kubinsky, both of Versailles, and Michael (Nicole) Kubinsky of Durham, NC; and also nieces and nephews. Tracy Lynn Ferry, age 55, of McKeesport, died Feb.16, 2022, at AHN Forbes Hospital of Monroeville. Born September 19, 1966, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Ken and Peggy (Tomco) Ferry.
Tracy was currently working at the Marriott Monroeville. She worked at many different hotels in the past years and the former Donut Connection of McKeesport. Tracy was also a former cake decorator. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by the father of her children and dear friend, Edward C. (Ada Marie) Ghrist of Glassport; partner, James Csorba; son, Edward M. Ghrist of McKeesport; daughter, Nicole M. (David Cook) Ghrist of McKeesport; brother, John Ferry of Duquesne; sisters, Patricia Vereb of Elizabeth; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 6 p.m. until the time of celebration of life service at 8 p.m. Edward C. Ghrist will be the celebrant.
