  David Nolfi, 70, of Glassport died peacefully Feb. 15, 2019 with his family by his side.  He is the son of the Mary (DeCarlo) Nolfi and the late Alma Nolfi.  He is survived by his beloved wife Eileen (Mooney) Nolfi; children Jason Nolfi, Aaron Nolfi and Alicia (Brad) Koontz; grandchildren Brett Michael Nolfi, Jalen Dru Koontz, Jesse Aaron Nolfi and Juliet Rose Koontz; brothers Tim (Peg) Nolfi and Jared Nolfi and sister Alma Marie Nolfi.  He was preceded in death by his sister Jessica Nolfi.  Dave was a retired supervisor for Duquesne Light but his passion was as a pastor for the Church of Jesus Christ, both Glassport and Clairton for over 40 years.  Dave was active in his church and community; mentored at McKeesport High School; traveled to India to minister and drove the blind whenever needed.  A memorial service will be held February 23 at the Church of Jesus Christ, Clairton at  11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ in David's name.

White, 79, of North Versailles, passed away on February 14, 2019 at UPMC McKeesport.  She was born February 17, 1939 in Spangler, PA, daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Dutsar) Sherry.  Alice was a member of Miller United Methodist Church and was an avid Bingo player.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland White; daughters, Janet White, Patty Pavel; son-in-law, David; and brother, Richard Sherry.  She is survived by her sons, Roland and his wife, Vivian, Paul, Norman, Barry and his wife, Kim; daughters, Alice Greer and her husband, Leon, Tina Jobe and her fiance, Mitch and Sandra Schwaed and her husband, Brian; sisters, Leona Williams, Anna Mae (Jim) Bracken; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at the James W. Andrew G. Vamos, 84, of Duquesne, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Born April 7, 1934, in West Mifflin, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Helen (Medar) Vamos. Mr. Vamos was a faithful member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne and a retired employee  of Rennekamp Builders Supply Company and George M. Hall Lumber Company. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Lesko) Vamos, he is survived by his loving daughter, Barbara Elaine McDonnell (Dedris Davis) of McKeesport, two grandchildren, Cassandra and Krystian McDonnell, a great granddaughter, Arya Bisgoni, two brothers, Edward Vamos of Munhall and Raymond Vamos of Eighty-Four, and a sister, Elaine Tiboni of Export. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Vamos.

Black, age 92 of Liberty Borough, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Born May 5, 1926 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Helen Margaret (Douglas) Sorg.  A former employee of Kaufmann's in Century III Mall and a member of the former Versailles Senior Citizens, Effie was an amazing and loving caregiver who was always willing to drive a friend to an appointment, babysit a grandchild, or generally lend a helping hand.  She loved animals, friends, but most of all her family.

Helen Shalako, age 99 of Liberty Borough, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019.  Born November 4, 1919 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kresa) Davidovich.  A devout member of St. Mark's Parish and the former St. Eugene's, Helen was a member of the church's Christian Mothers, cleaned the altar, ironed the altar linens, and attended daily Mass for 39 years while also volunteering at Kane Regional in her spare time.  An independent and strong-willed woman, she was a terrific and caring mother and grandmother who showed her love and faith every day of her life.

Betty Jean “B J” Budday, 89, of Jefferson Hills, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at AHN Jefferson Hospital.  She was born November 11, 1929, in McKeesport, to the late William and Opal McClelland Wilson.  Betty was the loving wife of the late Edgar W. Budday Sr. for 70 years.  She is survived by sons, Edgar W. Budday Jr. of Jefferson Hills, Joseph J. Budday of Jefferson Hills, James (Anna) Reid Budday of Wilson, SC; grandchildren, James W. and Michael R. Budday.  Along with her parents and spouse, Betty was preceded in death by siblings, Dolores Smith-Barber and William E. Wilson.  She was a graduate of McKeesport High School, attended Community College where she received a nursing degree, was a member of Pine Run UMC in Clairton where she taught Sunday School Class, enjoyed bowling, golfing, and was a Holy Matron in the Order of The Eastern Star.  Arrangements have been entrusted to S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N 6th Street, Clairton,  PA   15025.   Inurnment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park Thursday, February 14, 2019. Gary Edwin Blake, 72, of Clairton, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at AHN Jefferson Hospital.  He was born October 18, 1946 in McKeesport to the late William and Pearle Wyant Blake.  Gary is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lucille Michaels Blake; daughter, Melody (Christopher) Volpe of Clairton; brother James Blake of Finleyville; nieces (especially Cindy Lukens) and nephews.  Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by brother, William Blake.  He was a 1964 graduate of McKeesport High School, an EMT,  was instrumental in organizing the original Clairton Ambulance Service, he worked for US Steel National Tube Works and Edgar Thompson Works, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, Nascar, and sports.  Visitation will take place Friday, February 15, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton,  PA   15025.  A memorial service will take place at the funeral home Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 followed by interment at Round Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray costs.  Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com
