Grace Sparico Jordanhazy, 69, of Donora, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loving family. Grace was born on June 19, 1953, in McKeesport, the loving daughter of the late Peter and Mildred (Kaler) Sparico.
Grace loved hummingbirds, whether it be watching them at the feeders and plants in her backyard, or collecting items that were decorated with them. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she affectionately called her “baby dolls”.
Grace is survived by her beloved husband, P. Michael Jordanhazy; her son, Scott M. Jordanhazy; and her two daughters, Aimee M. Jordanhazy and Amanda M. Jordanhazy. Grace also leaves her grandchildren, Austin, Alex and Madison Barna; her sister and brothers; her Aunt, Pat Sparico; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Sharon Lynn Jageman, 65, of Lincoln Borough, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was born May 11, 1957 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter to the late Edward A. and Genevieve (Berger) Wozniak. Sharon graduated from Baldwin High School and took Accounting classes at CCAC. From 2004 - 2015, Sharon worked for the Elizabeth Forward School District as a Classroom Aide; then, in 2016 she was elected to be the Tax Collector for Lincoln Borough and South Allegheny School District; as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in the Borough. She enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting angels, and traveling to go camping. Her favorite camping spot was at Raystown Lake, just a few hours from here. She was a huge family person and loved to host family game nights with food, drinks, games and memories to cherish forever.

Margaret "Margie" Stefanko, 68, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born June, 28, 1954 in McKeesport and is the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Cservrnyak) Bolga. Margie was employed as a Retail Customer Service Representative and a Teaching Assistant at McKeesport School District for those in need of a little more assistance with their reading skills. She was also a dedicated, full-time caregiver for her mother for several years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Roman Catholic, and after closing, Margie and her husband eventually moved to St. Pius & then to Corpus Christi, while it was formerly known as St. Mary's. Now she is a member of the Mary, Mother of God Parish.

Margaret "Margie" (Gasparovic) Snodgrass, age 80 of Pittsburgh and originally of McKeesport, passed away January 9, 2023 after a brief but courageous battle with an illness. She is the loving wife of 45 years of John; loving mother and proud mom of Dr. Steven (Kelly) of Greenville, SC and Christopher (Anna) of Swissvale; devoted grandmother of Simon; and beloved Aunt Margie to many special nieces and nephews. A graduate of McKeesport High School who also attended Carlow University, Margie worked for many years as a meticulously organized professional secretary, most notably for Westinghouse Electric Corp. during the 1970s. She alternated her career with time as a stay-at-home mom, frequent volunteer at Sacred Heart Elementary School, a eucharistic minister and active parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Shadyside and later a parishioner at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Point Breeze. She was a pious woman of devout Catholic faith and proud Croatian heritage. Margie enjoyed volunteer work for many organizations, especially Childrens Hospital, Ladies of Charity, the Central Catholic High School Mothers Guild, and was selected as a volunteer Christmas decorator at the White House in 2011. She was well known for her incredibly caring, kind, and giving spirit. Margie was the daughter of the late Mate' and Anna (Stimac) Gasparovic. The youngest and last of seven in a close-knit immigrant family, she was preceded in death by her siblings John, Ann, Mary, Matthew (Mary), Thomas, and Steve "Snaps" Gasparovic.

Beryl Ruth (Deem) Richardson of North Huntingdon passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 at age 93. Beryl was a member of Brush Creek Lutheran Church in Irwin. Beryl was born in Milltown (Penn Hills) Penn Township to her parents, William H. Deem and Ruth Goldner Deem. Beryl was a graduate of Penn High School class of 1947 where she was a member of The Penn High Trio. The Trio performed for many functions, including a live performance on KDKA Radio for their Saturday morning program, Starlets on Parade, and also enjoyed singing on the Candis Sisters program for WWSW Radio. The Trio also did live broadcasts from the William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh. Beryl married William Robert Richardson during his military weekend leave on June 30, 1951, and began her teaching career in the Penn Hills School District following her graduation from Slippery Rock State College later that year. Beryl was an accomplished pianist with perfect pitch, and played effortlessly with or without sheet music. She loved to read, and shared many of her books with her family and friends. Beryl loved cross-stitching and made well over 200 projects, giving them as gifts to family and friends. A true sports fan, Beryl rooted for the Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins. She also enjoyed traveling anywhere in America with family and friends.

Barbara Wisniewski, 80, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at UPMC Mercy Hospital. She was born January 2, 1943 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Thomas and Rita (Voegtle) Everett. Prior to her retirement, Barbara was a medical secretary, a member of St. Agnes Parish where she sang in the choir and the Cereal Heights Ladies Club. She enjoyed visiting casinos, bowling, loved to cook, watching soap operas and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was born October 19, 1937 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Daniel and Margaret (Heskin) Ritter. Prior to his retirement, Daniel was the owner of the West Mifflin Shop 'n Save and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and socializing with his longtime friends. Helen M. Burkhardt, age 91, of Port Vue, died on January 5, 2023, at St. Clair Hospital. Born February 18, 1931, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (Bowser) Best and wife of the late Edward A. Kiesell and Raymond Burkhardt. Helen worked for Stouffer's Restaurant, Eat'n Park, Rendulic Meat Packing in her early years and as a caregiver later in life. She and her husband Ray ran Kiesell Soup Kitchen and Chapel in McKeesport for over 35 years. Helen would feed the homeless, have Christmas parties, pass out clothing and teach the Word of God. Serving the underprivileged held a special place in her heart, and her selflessness and kindness were a true example to all who knew her. Above all, Helen was a Woman of God and, as a minister, was known as Sister Helen.

Sally Ann (Popp) Williams, age 84 of Liberty Borough, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Kane Community Living Center, McKeesport. Born April 27, 1938 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Ida (Tolner) Popp. She was a member of Liberty Borough Veterans Association and an avid animal lover. She contributed to many non-profit organizations that were near and dear to her heart and her kindness will be missed. Sally will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was born January 8, 1946 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Alexander and Evelyn M. (Woll) Brown. Prior to her retirement, Sharon was a lab tech for Columbia Hospital and later the Forbes Health System with 40 years of service. After retirement she volunteered for the Vietnam Veterans of Westmoreland County, Christian Layman, Greensburg VFW and the YWCA Thrift Store. She was a graduate of Hempfield Area H.S and Carnegie Tech, Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Kelly, brother, Alexander C. and sister, Helen. She is survived by her son, Shaun; brothers, William, Kevin, Robert, James; sisters, Colen, Evelynn, Darlene and Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
