Kevin was a 1971 graduate of Keyser High School where he was the state wrestling champion in his senior year. He was inducted into Keyser Highschool Football Hall of Fame with the 1969 AA State Championship team. He was a  1974 graduate of Potomac State College, 1976 graduate of West Virginia University and a graduate of Westmoreland County Community College Culinary School where he graduated with honors.

Frank Tigano, 95, died peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2020.  He was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1925, the son of the late Joseph Tigano and Rose (DeMarco) Tigano Canalungo.  He is survived by his wife of 71 years Clara (Zezzo) Tigano, and four children, Frank (Madelain) Tigano, David (Fran) Tigano, Rosalie (Stephen) Carpenter, and Jerry (Jennifer) Tigano.  He has 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.  Frank was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.  He was the founder and co-owner of F & C Distributing Company in Braddock and Irwin.

Beverly Ann Brownfield, 65, was born on October 6, 1955. She was the beloved daughter of Janice (Smith) Brownfield and the late Meredith Brownfield. Beverly departed this life suddenly, on October 22, 2020 at UPMC McKeesport. She was preceded in death by her father, and her sister, Merredith “Rita” Brownfield.

Beverly was born in McKeesport and was the first grandchild on both sides of her large and loving family. She joined her family in becoming a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church at a young age and was baptized.

Beverly attended McKeesport Senior High School and worked for some time at the McKeesport OIC. She was also a childcare provider for many years. For decades Beverly proudly worked at one of the McKeesport polling locations during every primary and general election season, and always enjoyed the camaraderie of her fellow poll workers.

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Flowers, 85, of Jeannette, died October 24, 2020. Betty passed away from several health issues enhanced by the COVID-19 virus. Betty was born November 28, 1934 in McKeesport, the second daughter of Joseph and Anne Kapis. Betty was the surviving spouse of William "Weed-eye" Flowers.

Simply known as Bill and Betty, they spent most of their early married life raising their four children in Duquesne, then moving to Latrobe. Later in life, Bill and Betty retired to Irwin and eventually settled in Jeannette. Betty took great joy in raising her children and helping to raise her grandchildren. She worked as a secretary for several organizations and took great pride in her secretarial skills.

Cahill, 64, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  He was born May 26, 1956 in Washington, PA, a son of Helen Jean Brownlee and the late Douglas Cahill.  Doug was a self-employed contractor and enjoyed doing woodworking, spending time with his grandson and was an Eagle Scout.  He is survived by his wife, Teri (Erdly) Cahill; sons, Christopher and Joshua Guffey; sister, Debra Gorby and her husband, John; grandson, Hayden; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Takacs, age 94 of North Huntingdon, passed away at home on Thursday, October 29, 2020.  Born February 5, 1926 in Hostetter, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Ida (DiSciascio) DiMucci.  A member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Gloria was a graduate of the McKeesport School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for many years at McKeesport Hospital.  She is survived by her husband William Takacs; her sons Ray (Kathy) Takacs of North Huntingdon and William (Dawn) Takacs, Jr. of Weirton, WV.  As Gloria was also especially and greatly devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her grandchildren Katie (Angelo) Rometo, Thomas (Mindy) Takacs, Timothy (Jennifer) Takacs, and Stacy (Adam) Hardy; and her great-grandchildren John, Anne, and Sara Mamas, Eva Rometo, Levi, Elliot, Collin Takacs, and Ashton, Liam, and Delaney Hardy.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her great-grandson James Patrick Mamas.
