John Stephen Pasternak, age 88, of White Oak, died November 26, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on August 16, 1931 and is the son of the late John Michael and Mary Elizabeth Lichman Pasternak. He is retired from USS National Tube.
John is survived by his wife, Evelyn Begg Pasternak; son, David Pasternak of White Oak; sister, Alice (Edward) Scheetz of McKeesport; sister-in-law, Eleanor Pasternak of White Oak; sister-in-law, Frances Leschak of Baldwin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mildred and Donald Rendulic of Murrysville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert.

Dean William Czarnecki, 63, of Irwin, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, November 25, 2019. He was born April 14, 1956 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Robert Frank and Bernice Joan (Vesley) Czarnecki. He was a 1974 graduate of Norwin High School and received his Machine Shop Certification from Forbes Trail , Monroeville in 1977. He was a Manufacturing Supervisor for the former Nuclear Components in Greensburg and had also worked for Randy's Paint in North Huntingdon, Firestone in Youngwood, and Vangura Inc., Steve Poorman Tooling and Repair, and Jim Steffey Performance Machinery Inc. Dean also manufactured and customized Caribe Boats. He was a life-member of the Italian Minor's Society of Hahntown, and was a social member of the North Irwin Vol. Fire Co.

Glenn J. "Bandy" Heshizer, 91, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Excel Health Westmoreland Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 15, 1928 in Turtle Creek, a son of the late George and Margaret (Blotzer) Heshizer. Prior to his retirement, Glenn was a machinist for WABCO and later Shafton Machine. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean war era, a member of the Linway United Presbyterian Church, N. Versailles, and past commander of the American Legion, N. Huntingdon. He enjoyed hunting and dancing, loved feeding the birds, and watching western movies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George, Robert, Jack and Donald; sisters, Margaret, Doris, Glenna, Janie, Edith, Elizabeth and Mildred; and son-in-law, Carl Muentzer.
