She was born February 4, 1923 in Duquesne and was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Bornyik Prakop. She was the wife of the late Edward "Rusty" Fredrick Wilmans who died April 10, 2006. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Christy Park, Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens, Versailles, AARP, White Oak AARP, and Senior Americans. Irene was a former secretary for Westinghouse Air Brake, East Pittsburgh.

Duane H. Carter, Sr., 76, of McKeesport died on Thursday December 8, 2016 at home. Born April 26, 1940 in White Oak he was the son of the late George Edmund and Elizabeth (Hudak) Carter. He was the husband of the living Rosalie (Canova) Carter. He was a graduate of Wilmerding High School and served in the US Navy. He worked at four steel mills including National Tube, Firth Sterling, Copper Mill, and the East Pittsburgh Westinghouse plant. He then later retired from McKeesport Messenger Service after 20 years.
