She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in White Oak and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved her painting and reading.

Geraldine Marraccini Wright peacefully passed on September 18, 2016, at the age of 91. A pioneer for women in her time, she ran track and graduated in 1943 with a BS in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was also a member of Theta Phi Alpha sorority. In 1948, she earned her Master of Letters at Pitt. Afterward, she settled in Elizabeth Twp. and concentrated on raising her young, growing family.

A former member of Masonic Solomon Lodge #231, he enjoyed his garden, traveling, his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
