James C. Puckey, Sr., age 86, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at home. He retired from the boiler shop at U.S. Steel Clairton Works after 42 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran during the cold war. He attended Round Hill Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Twp. and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Born September 16, 1936, in Elizabeth Twp., he was a son of the late John B. Puckey, Sr. and Lillian F. (Russell) Puckey and husband of the late Blanche F. (Aldridge) Puckey. He is survived by son, James C. (Bonnie) Puckey, Jr. of Finleyville; daughter, Joyce (Jim) Reed of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Matthew (Rebekah) Puckey, Noah (Hannah) Reed, Gabriel Reed, Samantha (Ryan) Hohn, Megan (Austin) Hoffman, James Reed, Kristina (Casey) Walton, Megan (Jason) Sonson and Amanda (fiancé Bryant McCallum) Poland; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Alexander, Nicholas, Dylan, Madison, Austin, Wyatt, Savannah, Meadow, Forest, Landon, Adalynn Mae and one on the way; sisters, Ruth A. Thomas of Lincoln Borough and Nancy (Robert) Sanutelli of Elizabeth Twp.; brother, William (Barbara) Puckey of West Newton; also, nieces and nephews.

Harry Pearsol, age 77, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at home. He was a retired truck driver for West Elizabeth Lumber and a member of the Elrama Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed hunting and conversing with family and friends. Born January 9, 1947, in Sunnyside, he was a son of the late William and Clara Belle (Richardson) Pearsol and husband of the late Sylvia “Peachie” (Williams) Pearsol. He is survived by daughters, Renae (Steve) Hallam of West Elizabeth and Crystal Pearsol of West Elizabeth; grandchildren, Sierra, Quenton and Emma; great-granddaughter, Saige; siblings, Connie Armstrong of West Elizabeth and Dutch Pearsol of Richeyville; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Pearsol.

David Allen Mark, 68, passed away on May 18, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. Born in McKeesport, PA on February 13, 1955, he was the son of Elin (Carlson) Mark and Harry Allen Mark of Harrisburg, PA. Dave graduated from Elizabeth-Forward Senior High School and from Polk County Community College, with honors. He was employed at Epic Metals, of Rankin, PA and Lakeland, FL, at Piper Aircraft, of Lakeland, FL and retired from Polk County Community College as a Librarian.

Edward "Ed" C. Lane, age 65, of Bethel Park, went to be the Lord May 23, 2023. An Air Force veteran serving from 1983-1991, he retired May 12, 2023 from R.L. Miller LLC Hydraulic Equipment in Pittbsburgh. He was a member of the Clairton Sportman's Club.
Born March 6, 1958 in New Eagle, he was a son of Dorothy (Hartlein) Tuttle of Ohiopyle and husband of the late Susan Jean (Schaefer) Lane.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Robert (Kelly) Schaeffer and Stephanie (Kevin) Farrier; grandchildren, Wyatt Vincent Schaeffer, Hunter Douglas Schaeffer, Brayden Robert Schaeffer and Makenzie Rae Farrier; siblings, William Lane of Confluence, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Ferri of Indian Trail, NC, Frederick (Kimberly) Lane of Greenville, SC, Cynthia (Jackie) Hinzy of Confluence and Lori (Stephen) Miller of Ohiopyle; one niece and four nephews.

John N. Greco, loving husband, brother, uncle, friend and resident of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife and family. John was born to Frank and Mary (Tignanelli) Greco in Bunola October 20, 1939.
He was a 1958 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. John married Carolyn Marie Homer on September 3, 1966 and they spent 56 beautiful years together. He was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp., Knights of Columbus in West Mifflin and the Elizabeth Twp. Sportsman’s Association. He worked more than 20 years as a counselor for Pennsylvania Career Link.
John loved to sing and owned and operated the Johnny Greco Orchestra for many years. John is survived by his wife, Carrie Greco; sister, Claudia Phillips; nephews, Joseph Burkhart, Bill, Dave, Dan and Gary Phillips, James Homer, John Homer, John Piggford and Paul Piggford; nieces, Nancy Phillips, Kim Gephart, Lorraine Payne, Denise Kahler, Jana and Lauren Homer, Lynn Kurtz, Christine Piggford, Mary Burkhart Johnson and Linda Burkhart Davis; also, numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Judy (Jones) Holmes, age 79, of Glassport, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at home. She retired as an assignment administrator for Verizon in Greensburg and was a member of Glassport United Methodist Church. She had 17 grandchildren, three of whom she raised: David, Nicole and Charles Goldbaugh.
Born June 16, 1943 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Buckley) Jones. She is survived by children, Mary Poston of Tucson, AZ, Robert (Maryann) Goldbaugh of Mercer, Susan (Gordan Forney) Goldbaugh of Irwin, Tammy (Ken) Argyros of Elizabeth Twp., Donald L. (Christine) Holmes Jr. of Liberty Borough and Patti (Tom) Yeager of Elizabeth; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sherri Goldbaugh of Irwin; also, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephew.

Pamela Jean (Hartos) Bracco, age 65 of McKeesport, passed away surrounded by family at her side on Monday, May 23, 2023 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born October 27, 1957 in North Huntingdon, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Geraldine (Shigo) Hartos. A member of Christ United Methodist Church in Coulter and a former cake decorator at Shop-N-Save in McKeesport, Pamela enjoyed crafting, baking, and (most of all) spending time with her grandchildren. Mary Ann (Ramsey) Martin, age 76 of Liberty Borough and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in Jefferson Hospital. Born December 29, 1946 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Florence L. (Coughenour) Ramsey. A graduate of Clairton High School, Mary Ann was a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church and worked at the former Marraccini's Supermarket, both in Clairton. She is survived by her children Christina Martin, with whom she resided, and Richard (Tracy) Lindsey of Clairton; her eight grandchildren Kelsea, Devin, and Brendan Parsons, Alexia and Aiva Fait, and Courtney, Whitney, and R.J. Lindsey; her six great-grandchildren Noah, Jonathan, and Cameron Williams, Winter Anderson, Sage Fuqua, and R.J. Lindsey, Jr.; her brothers David (Kim) Ramsey of Jefferson Hills and Craig (Connie) Ramsey of Elizabeth Twp.; and also many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her siblings Curtis and Diana Ramsey.

Laurel J. Beckowitz, age 87 of Duquesne, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Squirrel Hill Wellness & Rehabilitation Center. Born January 31, 1936 in Lincoln Boro, she was a daughter of the late Steve and Anna (Vonhannle) Beckowitz. Laurel was employed with Rockwell International and the Y.W.C.A. in Wilkinsburg. She is survived by her sons Gary, John and Vincent Samudosky, Lance Ludwick, with whom she resided, and Glenn Ludwick. Laurel is also survived by her grandchildren Brittany and Corey and her sister Mary Ann Fidderer. Services are private and in the care of Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles.

Ann passed away on May 11 peacefully at home in Jefferson Hills with her family by her side. Born July 24, 1928 in Large to the late Thomas and Sophie Pavlik, she was the loving wife of over 60 years to the late John “Jack” Henderson and was also preceded in death by her siblings Margaret (Theodore) Smith, William (Aldia) Pavlik, Hilda Pavlik, Thomas (Julia) Pavlik, and George Pavlik. She is survived by her daughter Marcie (Tom) Cochran, with whom she resided; her grandchildren, who she loved, Rebecca (Eric) Della Lucia and Cindy (Jeff) Fite; her great-grandchildren who she dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with and who always kept her smiling, Olivia and Luca Della Lucia and Jeffrey Fite. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and was also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Pavlik. Ann was a member of the Clairton High School class of 1946 and spent her life in service of others. As an original member of Saint Thomas a Becket Parish, she was a CCD teacher there for over 50 years and also worked for the West Jefferson Hills School District as a crossing guard for 50 years. Aside from spending time with her family, Ann enjoyed reading, playing cards, and cooking. She also loved many family pets throughout the years, most recently their cat Sox.

Eileen E. Slinchock, age 86 of Port Vue, passed away at home on Monday, May 1, 2023. Born September 26, 1936 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Kapuska) Poturich. A retired bank secretary for McKeesport National Bank, Eileen was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Eugene's Site. In her spare time, Eileen loved to go on trips to the beach and lay out for hours in the sun. She also loved to crochet, do crossword puzzles, and read. However, most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Eileen joins her husband, the late Albert Slinchock, who passed away April 3, 2002. She is survived by her children Larry (Joann Binnie) of Plum Borough, Lisa (Dale) McCune of Wall, Cindy (Alvin) Rivera of Tampa, FL, and Lynn (Robert) Wargo of Port Vue; her grandchildren Dale Andrew, Garlan (Jennifer), and Zachary (Christina) McCune, Sydney, Mackenzie, Hayden, and Ethan Stec, and Brandon and Nikki Wargo; her four great-grandchildren Alexandra Black and Madison, Connor, and Wyatt McCune; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Eileen was preceded in death by her siblings Nicholas and Edward Poturich.

Linda Anne Muster, age 74 of Clairton, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at home. Born July 29, 1948 in Placentia, Newfoundland, and was a daughter of the late Randolph and Molly (Rose) Murphy. Linda worked as a sales associate at Joseph Hornes Department Store in Century III Mall and then as a bank teller with PNC Bank in Clairton. She was also an auxillary member of the Daniel Keffer American Legion Post # 75, Clairton. Linda is survived by her fiance' of 29 years Gerald A. Ward; her sons Richard (Greta) Muster of Clairton and Randy (Sherri) Muster of Bristow, VA; her daughter Tina (Craig) Pracht of Mars; her grandchildren: Kaylee, Loren, Sara, and Ian; her great-grandchildren: Willow, Ruby, Lilly, and Jackson; her great-great-grandchildren Liam and Scarlett; and her siblings Randy, Allen, and Rick Murphy, Peggy Wilson, Yvonne Noseworthy, and Jackie Murphy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Muster and grandson Freddy.
