Helen M. (Yonek) Haramia, age 81, of Jefferson Hills passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. Born April 16, 1940 in Clairton, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Piach) Yonek. She retired as a Unit Clerk for Jefferson Hospital. Helen was known for her cooking, baking, and an open seat at the table for holidays.  She will be remembered as a kind and gentle spirit, who loved doing the Sunday crosswords and gardening. Helen was preceded in death by husband Matthew L. “Bones” Haramia. She was survived by her sons Darren M. (Donna) Haramia of Munhall and Brian L. (Lorna D.) Haramia of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren David (Carol) Cochenour, Robert (Darlene) Cochenour, Christina (Tony) Lohman, Stephanie Catchot, and Corinne (Neil) Galloway; her many great-grandchildren; siblings Barbara (Regis) Fiore, Deborah Yonek, William Yonek; nieces Marci Provins, Kimberly (Todd) Provins-Stancliff, Lauren (Matt) Krupp, Courtney (Ben) Reed; nephew PJ Chonko; brother-in-law Robert (Catherine) Haramia; sister-in-law Janet (William) Clelland; and many cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Yonek; and nephew Craig Provins. Friends will be received at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 6 PM-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10 AM in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Danny R. Lee, age 66, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at home. He retired as a self-employed contractor at Dan Lee Construction in Elizabeth Twp. He loved the outdoors and growing flowers from seeds. He trained and bred English Setters and was a member of Pheasants Forever. Born October 2, 1955 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Elmore and Dolly (Faust) Lee. He is survived by daughter, Jennifer Kozemchak of Monongahela; five grandchildren; brother, Gary Lee of Elizabeth Twp.; and his companion with whom he resided, JoAnn Riley. Richard T. "Tom" Weigel, age 94, of Pleasant Hills, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at The Residence at Hilltop. He retired as an investment counselor and tax consultant for Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh. He was a Navy veteran serving during World War II and a member of Baldwin Community United Methodist Church. Born January 25, 1927 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Willard Houston and Maude (Patton) Weigel and husband of the late Artalissa K. (Keller) Weigel. He is survived by nieces and nephews. No visitation is planned. Burial will be Thursday, November 17, 2021 at 11 AM in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. William Milas, age 88, of Forward Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at home. A Marine veteran serving during the Korean War, he retired as a science teacher in the West Mifflin School District. A former Jefferson Hills police officer, he enjoyed his farm and horses and was a former roper. Born May 21, 1933 in Clairton, he was a son of the late George and Anna (Ruches) Milas. He is survived by his wife, Linda L. (Stokes) Milas; granddaughter, Harlie (John Democko) McGihon of Glassport; grandson, Luke Temple of Glassport; brother, Thomas (Nancy) Milas; a sister; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Amanda Lynn Milas. Henry J. Giammario, age 97 of Greenock, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Concordia of Monroeville.  Born November 24, 1923 in West Newton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Florence (DiSantis) Giammario.  A US Army Staff Sergeant during World War II, Henry served in Normandy, France and Germany.  He retired from Equibank where he was a Trust Officer for over 25 years.  He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish and the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge 146 of Versailles.  Henry is survived by his wife Dorothy (Kisan) Giammario; his daughters Deborah Monaco of Plum Boro, Pamela (Jim) Jeltema of Bellebrook, OH, and Beth (Gregory) Smith of Indian Rocks Beach, FL; his four grandchildren; his one great grandson; his three step grandchildren; his five step great grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Anna Segedi

Elizabeth Anna Segedi, age 102 of Clairton and formerly of Washington, DC, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.   Born August 5, 1919 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Elizabeth (Miney) Segedi.  A 1937 graduate of Clairton High School, Elizabeth worked as a civil service employee within the Federal Government in Washington, DC from 1941 to 1978.  She began with one year for the IRS Income Tax Division, followed by 36 years with the US Coast Guard as a Visual Information Specialist for the Public Information Division.  She was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish and the former St. Paulinus Church in Clairton and the Catholic Daughters of America Court 212 of the District of Columbia.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews and, besides her parents, was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Segedi, John Szegedy, and Michael Segedi.

Ronald L. Van Fossen, age 82, of Elizabeth, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. He retired as a high school math teacher in the Canon-McMillian School District, where he was a former head coach for the baseball team. He was also a former head coach for a team in the Daily News League and an American Legion team. He was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp. Born April 16, 1939 in Bunola, he was a son of the late Harry E. and Stella M. (Cheskawich) Van Fossen. He is survived by his siblings, Arlene Van Fossen, Nancy (Larry) Boal, William (Maryanne) Van Fossen and Dennis (Roslyn) Van Fossen, all of Elizabeth; also, cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Harry Van Fossen Jr. No visitation is planned. "Herb" Banko and her siblings: Caroline Kasunich, Fannie Cindric, Michael and Charles Krznaric, Daisy Kramer, Emma Schneider, and Frank and Joseph Krznaric.  She is survived by her sister Mary Scott of Monroeville and many nieces and nephews.  There is no visitation scheduled for Rose Marie.

Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Michael's Church in Elizabeth Twp., the former St. Joseph's Parish in Clairton, and its Christian Mothers Guild.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Prokop, who passed away July 11, 1991, and her siblings Frank Yantek and Anne Orenyak.  Mary is survived by her sons Thomas (Dolly) Prokop of Elizabeth Twp. and Robert (Jo Carol) Prokop of Martinsburg, WV; her grandsons Thomas (Melissa) Prokop of Laytonsville, MD and Daniel (Natalie) Prokop of Allison Park; and her great-grandchildren: Madeline, Matthew, Meredith, Joseph, Nadia, and Petra.

David, age 67 of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Jefferson Hospital.  Born August 27, 1954 in Elizabeth, PA, he was a son of the late Arthur B. and Nan (Phillips) David.  He is survived by his wife Elaine A. (Homa) David.  A former loader for U.S. Steel, Jim was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church, Glassport and the Holy Name Society.  Jim was also a former member of the Clairton Auxiliary Police, Sinnemahoning Sportsman's Club, Clairton Sportsman's Club, and the National Rifle Association.  He is survived by his brother, Dr. Robert (Sherry) David of Brentwood; his nieces and nephews, his godchildren; Dr. Katherine J. Barnett, Megan Weber, Daniel Barnett, and Alex Hodinko, his cousin, Terry Phillips, and good friend, Kenny Moon.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Evan, Art, and Beatrice. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10 AM in Sts. James G. Wilson, age 73, of Lincoln, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at home. He was a former clerk for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and a former Boy Scout. He was awarded the American Legion Youth Leadership Award for high school juniors being a Keystone Boys Stater. Born October 31, 1948 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James and Helen (Eggert) Wilson and husband of the late Pamela Jean Gordon Wilson. He is survived by siblings, the Rev. David D. (Gale) Wilson of Venetia and Marijane (Len) Bartkus of New Milford; nephew, Gregory (Amanda) Wilson of Cranberry; niece, Hannah (Harish) Sharma of Jersey City, NJ; and great-nieces and nephews, Matthew and Henry Wilson, and Aadhya and Avani Sharma. Julian, age 90 of Pleasant Hills, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Southwestern Nursing Center, West Mifflin.  Born February 2, 1931 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Attilio and Adelina (Lancianese) Julian.  A US Army Veteran of the Korean War, Anthony was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton, a retired motor inspector at US Steel Clairton Works, and a member of the Tuesday Night Bowling League in Clairton and Glassport.  He is survived by his wife Alberta (DiFalco) Julian; his children Thomas Julian of Pleasant Hills and Barbara (Joe) Mills of West Mifflin; his brother Valentino (Carol) Julian of St. Petersburg, FL; his sister Angeline (Joe) DiPietro of Portland, OR; and also many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his siblings Pete, Jimmy, Mark, Joe, John, and Marie Julian, Concerina Bonafortuna, Dorothy and Frances Russo, and Viola Contini.

Williams, age 93 of Clairton, passed away peacefully in Indiana with her sons and daughter-in-law Pam at her side on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  Born January 19, 1928 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Pete and Jeanette (Barron) Seidling.  A former telephone operator for Bell who also worked for G.C. Murphy & Co. in Clairton and Ames in Bethel Park, Rita was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton and the Clairton Senior Citizens.  Hers was a life well lived.  Her love, strength, and memories will be greatly missed.  She will live on forever in heaven and in our hearts.  Besides her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband Robert Williams and her siblings Lois Follador and Lawrence "Dutch" Seidling.  She is survived by her children Robert (Pam) Williams of Plainfield, IN, Jean (Charles) Minford of Clairton, Kahrl (Rick) Smith of Butler, and Charles (Norma) Williams of Indianapolis, IN; her nine grandchildren: Robert and Jeffrey Williams, Karie Wright, Jaron and Matthew Minford, Karisa Williams, April and Alicia Raymond, and Michael Goliat; her fourteen great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; her nieces Dinean (Follador) Benack and Lynne (Seidling) Fedorka; and also many nephews.

Dominic P. Ripepi, age 95 of Jefferson Hills, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born July 16, 1926 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Michael and Josephine (Triglia) Ripepi.  A US Army Veteran of World War II, Dominic worked as an armored car driver for Landmark Security of Large.  He was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Clare of Assisi Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Sons of Italy, all of Clairton.  In his spare time, he was a big Steelers Fan, but he was a bigger family man.  They will love and miss him terribly.  Dominic is survived by his wife of 66 years Josephine (Bonafortuna) Ripepi; his daughters Deborah Ann (Tom) Curry of Kingston, TN and Donna (Ken "Moose") Van Kirk of Clairton; his grandchildren Thomas Michael (Rebecca) Curry and Brian (Carrie) Curry; his great-grandchildren Tony (fiancee' Ashton Martin) Curry, James Curry, Charlie Ann Curry, and Sam Curry; his brother Pat Ripepi of Jefferson Hills; his sister Antoinette Rothacker of Clairton; his sister-in-law Sara Behary of Clairton; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Dominic was preceded in death by his sisters Frances Lofstrom and Marie DeSimone.
