Kathleen (Rhodes) Rost, age 94 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away at home on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Born June 25, 1924 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late George and Carolyn (Flaherty) Rhodes. A graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Kathleen also worked as a secretary for Rost Electric, her family's business. She was a devout member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. and kept her faith strong. In her spare time, Kathleen loved to play bridge and golf with her Y.C.C. Women's Golf League. She enjoyed travelling with her friends from N.E.C.A. and loved her family vacations to Stone Harbor, NJ and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL. Most importantly, she was a loving and devoted wife to William F. Rost, who passed away August 14, 1992.

(Erin) Gephart Jr. of West Newton and Christopher (Angela Mason) Kurta of White Oak; grandchild, Kylie Kurta of White Oak; brothers, Karl (Patricia) Rothey of Clairton and Eric (Tami) Rothey of West Newton; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandson, Anthony Stephen Gephart. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Edward R. Skuhrovec, age 72 of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully in the home he grew up in, according to God's plans as the family had hoped for, on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Born March 12, 1947 in McKeesport, he was one of two sons, along with his brother Rudy, of Rudolph and Mildred (Pfiefer) Skuhrovec. Edward was a music and sports lover from an early age. As a member of the first graduating class of Port Vue-Liberty High School (now South Allegheny), he was in the band for 8 years, serving as head drummer for 5, and was a member of the 1965 WPIAL Section 14 championship baseball team. After graduation, he began his career of fifty years, for US Steel at Homestead and Clairton, as a member of the United Steelworkers Union #s 1397 and 1557, and also as a member of the Boilermakers Union #154.
