Nickolich, age 93 of Clairton, passed away at home on Sunday, January 10, 2021.  Born December 28, 1927 in Jefferson Hills, he was a son of the late Nick and Anna (Polovich) Nickolich.  A US Army Sergeant in the Korean War, John was the former owner and proprietor of Johnny's Glass in Clairton and attended Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pearl (Crisman) Nickolich and his siblings Nick Nickolich, Eva Milas, and Tom Nickolich.  John is survived by his daughters Marcie Yocco of Jefferson Hills and Cathy White of Clairton; his sons John T. (Michelle) Nickolich and WIlliam (Kim) Nickolich, both of Clairton; his seven grandchildren Sherry Sillings, Rick Yocco, Jr., Katie Rich, Jennifer Walker, Laura Nickolich, and Matthew and Jonathan White; his six great-grandchildren Rilynn, Bree, Reagan, Isabelle, Liam, and Layla; and also nieces and nephews.

Shepherd, age 81 of North Huntingdon, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  Born march 2, 1939 in  Coulter, he was a son of the late Plummer and Estelle (McLaughlin) Shepherd.  A member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, after receiving his bachelor's degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, James worked for many years as a history and government teacher for McKeesport Area School District.  He was also a member of the CFU Lodge #146 and its Men's Club.  James is survived by his wife Janet (Lubinski) Shepherd; his sons James L. (Heather) Shepherd of Nashport, OH and John M. (Laura) Shepherd of Roxbury, NJ; his grandchildren Kimberlyn, Andrew, Hannah, and Sarah; his siblings Raymond (Joanne) Shepherd of North Huntingdon and Carol Haines of Coulter; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael Shepherd.

Joe and his parents were lifetime members of SNPJ. He was a member of the Bricklayers Union local 9 and a 55-year member of the Norwin Elks. Joe was a property developer and home builder, along with his father, Joe, and his son, Joe, (J&J Builders). Joe’s life continued to be one victory after another.

Albina "Beanie" Mihalchik of North Huntingdon Twp. peacefully passed on January 6, 2021 age 92. “Beanie” was the wife of the late Edward G. Mihalchik. Loving and devoted mom of Linda (Matthew) Momich and Gary Mihalchik and the late Robert and Steven Mihalchik.

Beanie as affectionally known as a loving mother and grandma. She loved to host people in her home. For many years she was a waitress at the former Monzo Palace Inn. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and playing cards. She will be deeply missed. Special grandma of 9 and 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Mary Lombardo and Helen Williams. Patricia “Pat’ A. (Headings) Fryer, age 76, from North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born February 17, 1944 in McKeesport and grew up in Port Vue, a daughter of the late William and Evelyn Headings. She attended St. Agnes Catholic Church in North Huntingdon. Pat worked for over 28 years as a food service manager for the Norwin School District before retiring.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Gerald Headings. She is survived by her sons Cary (Marlene) Reccelle and Chris (Carla) Reccelle both of North Huntingdon; grandchildren Kyli Miller, Jacob Reccelle and Joshua Reccelle; brothers William (Fay) Headings of Lewistown; Mike Headings of McKeesport and her sister Mary Grace Morris of Port Vue.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews that she cherished spending time with. She enjoyed shopping online and being with her very dear friends.

(Colecchi) DiLonardo, age 77 of Clairton, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born June 21, 1943 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Lorette (Rondinelli) Colecchi.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish and the Sons of Columbus Santa Maria Council #3, Donna was a graduate of Clairton High School who then attended Point Park University and retired as a medical secretary.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, family vacations to Ocean City, MD, and trips to the casino.  She joins her husband of 42 years, the late Vincent W. DiLonardo, who passed away May 21, 2017.  Donna is survived by her sister Dolores Sluszka of New York; niece Carla Danielson; nephews Dean, Anthony and James (Kathy) DiLonardo and Vincent and Anthony Imbrogno; and also her aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
