Marianne Schwab Poorman, 47 of Glassport, passed away on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, at U.P.M.C Presbyterian Hospital. She was born in McKeesport on May 17th, 1974, to the late Norbert Vincent and Patricia Gniewkowski Schwab. Marianne was the loving wife of 30 years to T. J. Poorman. She is survived by her children Anthony (Kirstie) Corsan of Moorehead N.C. Nathan Poorman of Meadville PA, and Luke Poorman of Glassport, sister Karen (Jeff) Keifer of Port Vue, and brother Richard Schwab of Clairton, as well as her nieces and nephews and her dogs Gizzy and Neo. Marianne enjoyed canoeing and camping. She was a member of the River City Church Assembly of God and worked as a bartender for Club 46 (Clairton Fire Dept.).

Born August 4, 1941 in Braddock, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Vera Jane (Custard) Johannes. Elfrieda worked as a cook for Smitty's Restaurant in Boston. Elfrieda was survived by her children John (Kim) McFarland of South Park, Arlene Dudgeon of Port Vue, Michelle (companion Mike Wiesenfeld) Jeffer of Daisytown, and Tracy (Fallon) McFarland of Port Vue; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters Vera Jane Dixon of New York and Arlene (Paul) Snyder of Irwin; and nieces and nephews. Edward O. Lindberg, age 97 of Harrisonburg, VA and formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Sunnyside Retirement Home in Harrisonburg. Born May 25, 1924 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Oscar E. and Martha (Laughrey) Lindberg. A World War II Veteran of the US Navy, Edward retired after 34 years as a connecting railroadman at US Steel – National Tube Works in McKeesport. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary (Vukevich) Lindberg, who passed away February 20, 2018, and his brother Charles Lindberg. Edward is survived by his sons Edward (Karen) Lindberg of Harrisonburg, VA, Robert (Barbara) Lindberg of Vancouver, WA, Mark (Maggie) Lindberg of Fairbanks, AK; his seven grandchildren and their families; his sister Thelma Ayers of Phoenixville; and also nieces and nephews.

She was born January 16, 1942 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Tony and Mary E. Knor Bencloski. Nancy was a member of Calvary Church. Prior to her retirement, Nancy was employed by Target. She was a member of the Senior Center in Penn Hills and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2011, one brother Anthony Bencloski and one sister, Karen Butalla. Dorothy Jane Richie (Micklo) age 76, of West Mifflin / North Huntingdon Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5th, 2021. She went home to be with Jesus and to greet her mother Annette (Jancsik) and her father William Micklo of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Dorothy (Dotty) lived in Florida for the past 16 years with her loving and devoted husband Jim. Some of her closest friends are sisters Joyce and Gladys Hudak. Dorothy and Jim 's daughter, Stacie Crisp lives with her husband Eric and son Dalton. Dotty and Jim's son, Jim Richie lives with his wife Christine and two daughters, Helena and Emily. Dotty was close and loved spending time with her sisters Gail Henderson and Leslie Frazier. Dotty was the Supervisor of the Radiology Department at Jeannette Hospital. Dotty will miss all her family and friends but she is in Heaven now with Jesus and will be there to greet us when it is our time to go home. Friends and family will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Monday September 13th from 2-4 pm and from 6-8 pm. and on Tuesday from 8 am to 9:30 am with parting prayers at 9:30 am. Jennifer L. Hreha, age 39, of White Oak, died at home on September 6, 2021, due to complications from Diabetes. Born September 28, 1981, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Duane and Deborah (Cooper) Hreha.
Jennifer began her career with UPMC as a customer service representative, but with her positive attitude and exceptional performance, she was promoted to Coordinator, member services. She cherished her nephew Theo and enjoyed their time spent together doing crafts. Jennifer was a kind, loving person who cherished the time spent with her family. She was always there to lend a helping hand when you needed her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Jessica (Adam) Nelson; aunt, Jackie Deet; uncles, John Cooper, Michael (Cathy) Cooper, Frank (Gennie) Hreha, and David (Mary Beth) Hreha and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Agnes Cooper, Frank and Ina Hreha, and a cousin who was like a sister, Michelle Deet.

Margaret “Peggy” Herman Pacich, age 78, passed away in Wesley Chapel, FL, on August 31, 2021. Peggy was born on July 9, 1943 to David and Mary Hulda Herman in Clairton, PA. There she graduated from Clairton High School, class of 1961. Soon after, she married her husband George Pacich, also from Clairton. Together, the two moved around, living in Baldwin and Bethel Park, before moving to Florida for the remainder of their lives. During her life, Peggy stayed busy. She worked in commercial property management, and she loved her job. She raised her four children: George D. (Daisy Landes) Pacich, Mark (Natalie) Pacich , Kirstin (Pete) Williams, and Patricia Trout. She became a grandmother to 6 grandchildren: Alexa, Adam, Sam, Nate, Idanya, and Luka.

Mary Felicia Iski, 78, of Pennsburg, passed away September 4, 2021. She was the widow of Joseph E. Iski, who passed in 2016. Born in McKeesport, Pa, she was the daughter of the late John & Felicia (Mustacchio) Pausic. Mary Felicia was a graduate of Duquesne University, and later went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Library Science.
She taught at Rittenhouse Middle School and Eisenhower Middle School in Norristown and was the schools’ librarian for many years. Mary Felicia was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. She loved her hats and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mary Felicia was a voracious reader, loved the theater, and traveling with her husband. She also had a love of her German Shepherds, Rula and J.D.

Lawrence "JR" Wilson, Jr., 85, of Monroeville, died Sept. 4, 2021. He is the beloved husband of the late Geraldine "Geri" Wilson. He is survived by his sister-in-law Joan Drosdick and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Crystal and son Larry. He enjoyed helping Geri taking care of her Seeing Eye German Sheperds Bouquet, Pride, Neon and Olina. JR was retired from Firestone, where he worked for 23 years and Giant Eagle where he worked for 22 years. JR joined the Monroeville Lions Club in 1982 where he served as Club President from 2005- 2006 and then became a member of the White Oak Lions Club where he continued to be very active until his death. He was also a member of the Wilkins Elks Lodge #577 for over 20 years and rarely missed a meeting. He was a huge Pittsburgh sport fan, including the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. A memorial service will be held on Sat., Sept. 11 at 11am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Monroeville outside at the gazebo.
