Vezzani, age 70 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born January 29, 1950 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Betty (Lopretto) Lee.  After earning her associates degree in accounting from Penn State, Elizabeth worked as a manager at Bell Credit Union in McKeesport.  A member of St. Michael's Parish in Elizabeth Twp., she will be remembered as a hard working, kind, and compassionate person who put others before herself and, most importantly, a great friend and sister to her family who will be sorely missed.  Besides her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Richard Vezzani, who passed away October 9, 2018, and her brother Tom Lee.  She is survived by her siblings Gen. Paul (Dorothy) Lee, USMC, Ret. of Dumfries, VA, Patty (Dan) Szabo of Elizabeth Twp., and Bob (Nancy) Lee of Franklin, TN; and her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Hazel Ann Garrett, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed away May 8, 2020 at Redstone Highlands Greensburg.  She was born June 27, 1929 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Arthur C. and Florence Horne Truxal.  Hazel was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Irwin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Garrett, and infant granddaughter, Amber Aiguier; four sisters, Laura Ruth Spring, Mary Louise Cline, Elsie Elizabeth Fink and Sara Jane Smith; and beloved brother, John A. Truxal.  She is survived by her son, Les (Jean) Garrett of Butler; two daughters, Patricia Aiguier of Katy, TX, Deborah (Bill) Monroe of Acme; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services are private.  Arrangements were made by the James W. Bernice Truesdale, 95, loving daughter of the late James and Elizan Smith, departed this life on May 5, 2020 at Kane Regional Medical Center, McKeesport.

“Mrs. Bernice” was born on July 8, 1924, in Sumter, South Carolina. In 1940, she met and married Henry Truesdale in Sumter, South Carolina. Shortly thereafter, they joined the Great Migration and came North, seeking a better life. They eventually settled in Duquesne, Pa. where they became staunch members of Macedonia Baptist Church. Their union produced 5 children:  Henrietta, Doris Ann, Larry, Veneda and Delores. While raising their 5 children, Bernice was also employed for many years first at Presbyterian Hospital, then McKeesport Hospital until she retired.

Thomas Bailey, 77, of West Newton, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Sycamore Estates in Duquesne.  He was born March 6, 1943 in McKeesport, a son of the late Willis S. Bailey and Rita (McConeghy) Ehland.  Tom was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School Class of '61.  Prior to his retirement, Tom was a sales executive for World Book Encyclopedia and later was an over the road truck driver.  He was a veteran of the US Navy where he was a torpedo man on the USS George C. Marshall Nuclear Submarine in the early 1960's.   He was a member of the House of Faith Church in West Newton and was a faithful Christian all of his life and loved his family.  He enjoyed music and singing karaoke and was a great dancer.  He loved entertaining and was the life of any party.

Ardina “Dena” Guglielmo, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.  Born October 12, 1922 in Six Mile Run, PA, Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Loretta (Bianchini) Filotei.  Her family moved to the Christy Park neighborhood of McKeesport where she spent her adult life.  Ardina moved to Columbus, OH in 2012 at age 90 and spent the last five years in the Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus.    A member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (Mary, Mother of God Parish), she loved to cook, dance, and watch her cooking shows and missed David Letterman on the late show.  She was a caregiver to many, helping ailing people inside and outside of her family.

John “Sidekick” Jordan, age 45, of McKeesport, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at his home.  He was born in McKeesport on May 13, 1974 and is the son of Joseph C. Jordan, Sr. of White Oak and Wilma Emerick Hatridge of McKeesport. John was employed by JG Construction Company in Clairton.  He was a good, hardworking family man who loved working on cars, painting, listening to music, apending time with his family and playing video games with his children and stepchildren. In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughters, Danielle Haas of McKeesport, her son William Jr. and daughter Journei. His eldest daughter Samantha Marie Jordan of Smock, PA as well as her children Ania Marie, Kaylum Garret, and Karma Kathleen. His brothers, Dominic (Ashley) Jordan of South Carolina, Joseph (Tammy Hofmiester) Jordan, Jr. of West Mifflin, Angelo Jordan of McKeesport; sister, Charity Jordan; stepbrothers, Lance McPherson of Elizabeth, Robert Jordan of McKeesport, Steven Jordan of Texas; also, many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Hope Jordan Egenlauf as well as her four children whom he loved dearly.

Jeffrey Harold Conley, 66, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2020 at Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg after his strong battle with cancer.  Jeffrey lived in West Mifflin, PA.  He was born on June 22, 1953, in Pittsburgh, to the late Lucille and James Conley.  Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene (Deverts) Conley and his 4 children, Heather Conley, Amber Conley, Colleen (Conley) Blissman and Brian Conley.  He was also adored by his three grandchildren USMC LCpl  Derek O’Neal, Dustin Rigby & Chloe Blissman. He is survived by his two brothers and sister Les Conley, Kevin Conley, and Maureen Rostek, along with his nieces and nephews.  He loved spending time with his family, watching Steeler and Penguin games, celebrating holidays and he  was always there to lend a helping hand.

An Air Force veteran serving during World War II, he retired after 48 years as personnel manager for Consolidation Coal Co. in Elizabeth. He was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp., a life member of Alonzo Weigel American Legion Post 553 in Elizabeth, and the Kasta Uveges VFW Post 7632 in Blaine Hill.

Born April 9, 1925 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late John and Cecelia (Stragand) Hamadock. He is survived by his wife, Dolores "Sis" (Van Fosson) Hamadock; daughter, Cede (Anton) Cavalier of Elizabeth; son, R. Gregory (Pascale) Hamadock of Chantilly, VA; brother, Frank (Susan) Hamadock of Cibolo, TX; grandchildren, Adam (Jennifer) Cavalier of Elizabeth Twp., Gel Cavalier of Elizabeth and Liz Hamadock of New York, NY; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Amelia Cavalier; also, nieces and nephews.

Prior to his retirement, Bill was a self-employed plumber and contractor and was a veteran of the US Army Air Force having served during WWII.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Kurkoski Betters; and son, William John Betters Jr.  He is survived by his son, Doug Betters; daughter, Dianne Quincy and her husband, Carey; grandchildren, Bree Betters Teale and her husband, Huw, Samantha Betters, Katrina Betters; and grandsons, Dylan and Jonathan Teale.  Services are private.  Arrangements were made by the James W.
