H. Deloris Seperek, age 92, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021, at her home. Born on October 17, 1928, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Hazel (Lamb) Fry and the wife of the late Matthew E. Seperek.

Richard M. (Dick) Grace, age 90, of McKeesport, died February 16, 2021, at home. Born June 27, 1930, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Coughlin) Grace and the loving husband of Marianne (Bodnar) Grace for 63 years. Dick worked for US Steel National Works as a crane repairman for 30 years. He was an active member of United Steel Workers Union Local 1408. He served as a Grievance Man, Vice President and President of Local 1408 from 1979 to 1985. He retired in 1987 and then worked for the United Steelworkers Dislocated Worker Program and was President of Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR).

Edward "Ed" R. Krien, 72, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021. He was born May 22, 1948 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Frank and Irene (Tretyak) Krien. Ed was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and during his time of service he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Overseas Service Bar, Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge M-14 and M-16, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. Ed was a very hardworking man, who worked for Central Blood Bank as a truck driver for 35 years, where he had just recently retired, December 31, 2020. No matter what was made for dinner, Ed had always preferred hotdogs and baked beans, but nothing beat a bowl of cheerios or popsicles. Ed enjoyed his family time while vacationing to OBX every summer.

Harriet M. Good, 74 of North Huntingdon died February 17, 2021 at Select Specialty in Latrobe. She was born April 6, 1946 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie Hoffer. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a manager by Goodwill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 2016, a daughter, Paula, four brothers, Jack, Harry, Bucky and Raymond, two sisters, Dolly and Sheila. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Twele and her husband Kevin, one son, Joseph Good (Chrissy), 9 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. Interment will take place Monday at 11 A.M. in Long Run Cemetery. James Wilhelm “Fingers” Dreer, 71 of Wilmerding, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021. He was born in Elizabeth on October 11th, 1949 to the late James and Alice Seachrist Dreer. James was the loving partner of 39 years to Darlene J. Rupinski. He is survived by his sons; James W. Dreer of Glassport, Mark J. (Bobbie Jo) Rupinski of Glassport, James J. Dreer of Wall, and stepson Jason Rupinski of Wall, daughters Tonia (James) Hedrick of Huntingdon W.V., Crystal Dreer of McKeesport, and stepdaughter Spring Rupinski of Glassport, twenty grandchildren and one great-grandchild. James was preceded in death by his sister Alice Sharon Egenlauf. He enjoyed doing auto repair on vehicles and loved to find treasure when junk picking. James worked as a burner for twenty years at Casturo Salvage Co.

Alicia worked as a CNA and with Action Housing helping the homeless. Cleveland Peart, 90, of Wilkins Township, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home. He was born February 13, 1931 in Mt. Moriah, Jamaica, a son of the late George and Clementina (Diaz) Peart. Prior to coming to the United States, Cleveland was a cobbler in Jamaica and came to the states where he was a housekeeper for Hilton Hotels. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and especially loved driving. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings. Lawrence Gray Maple, 92 of Clairton passed away Sunday, February 14th, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Bunola, PA on May 8th, 1928 to the late Lawrence D. and Edna Georgina McCay Maple. Lawrence Gray Maple was the loving husband of 71 years to Gloria Maple. He is survived by his children Larry (Karen) Maple of Finleyville, Ginger Begg of Saint Cloud Florida, Gail (Phillip) Marshman of Pleasant Hills, Janet (Dan) Klingensmith of Clairton, 11 grandchildren Alisha Van Bibber, John Maple, Sky Begg, Jordan Begg, Dallas Begg, Chandler Begg, Brittany Hugley, Emily Lander, Conor Marshman Joshua Klingensmith, and Kasey Wright followed by 10 great-grandchildren. Lawrence was preceded in death by his son-in-law Schylur Begg. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and he ministered at and was a member of the Clairton congregation of Jehovah’s witnesses, since 1950. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and singing with family. Lawrence loved looking at all the beauty of Gods creations, he got to know the trees, birds, and flowers. He also enjoyed discussing the bible with others and he looked forward to Gods promise of living on a paradise earth in the future. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. Dorothy A. Fehr, age 100, of Zelienople, formerly of McKeesport and White Oak, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community, where she had been a resident for many years.
Born July 13, 1920 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Nancy Angeline Jones.
Dorothy married the late Harry Glenn Fehr on October 22, 1942, and shared 66 years of marriage until his passing on March 12, 2009.
She was the mother of David Fehr of Sequim, WA, Douglas (Susan) Fehr of Wexford, PA, and the late Dr. Elaine (Leonard) Waters of Bradenton, FL; the grandmother of Jason (Susan) Fehr, Eric (Amy) Fehr, Justin Fehr, David Waters, Dr. Jenni Waters and Dr. Amy Waters; and great-grandmother of Madison, Jackson, Ansley, Theo, and Stella Fehr, and Jonah and Braeden Waters.

Donald “Don” F. Ditter, age 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born May 31, 1935 in McKeesport, a son of the late Fredrick and Mildred Ditter. He was an Air Force veteran that went onto work his entire career as a welder for U.S. Steel before retiring. He had a passion for coaching NCAA midget Football and supporting his daughter’s swimming teams. He also enjoyed spending Wednesday nights watching his son and friends bowl and would never miss one of his granddaughter's softball games.
