Peggy J. Williamson, age 91 of Clairton, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Born January 15, 1930 in Salem, IN, she was a daughter of the late Verna Clemons Medlock and Laura Kathryn (Clark) Fess. A retired outpatient clerk at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Peggy was a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church in Clairton; the Eastern Star Clairton Chapter #316; a Past President of the PASARD - Pittsburgh Area Square and Round Dancers Federation; Past President of the local PTA; and a member of the American Sewing Guild. She is survived by her husband Harry Gilbert Williamson; her daughters Kathleen (the late Norman) Rinker of Jeffersonville, IN, Karen Williamson of Clairton, and Francell W. (Robert) Helfrich of Atkinson, NH; her grandchildren Alan and Bryan Rinker, Kathryn Gibbs, and Allyson Levesque; her five great-grandchildren; her sisters Nancy C. Dowell of Salem, IN and JoAnn Lemmell of Lanesville, IN; her brother Dale Edwin (Willie) Fess of New Albany, IN; and also nieces and nephews.

David Lee Kettren, 74, of North Irwin, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021. He was born August 22, 1946 in Greensburg, son of the late Augustine and Margaret J. Kettren. David was a Staff Sergeant with the US Army Reserves, worked at Westinghouse Electric, and was an honorary member of the NIVFC. He enjoyed fishing, watching old western movies, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, of 53 years, Sonnet (Lee) Kettren; children, Pamela (David) DePalma of Ruffs Dale, David A. (Twiggy) Kettren of Penn, and Kimberly (Thomas Werkman) Reed of North Irwin; grandchildren, Brandon (Chelsey) Sansonetti, Madison Foltz, Vanesah Foltz, Sonnet Myers, Anthony DePalma, Caleb, Pamelyn and Jaxon Werkman; brothers, Timothy (Joycelyn) Kettren of Larimer, Mark (Donna) Kettren of North Huntingdon; his special fur baby Bella; and several nieces and nephews.

Bonnie L. Rhodes, age 71, of Liberty Borough, died March 15, 2021, at home. She was born July 22, 1949, in McKeesport, and daughter of the late Edward and Matilda (Nemeth) Schuster. Bonnie enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, bird watching, or taking in the beauty of lilacs. Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Bentley, 70, of Lincoln Boro, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 19, 1950 in Duquesne and was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Martha (Babyak) Haley. Cindy worked as a nurse for 40 years at McKeesport Hospital. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Darlene R. Kmetko, 75, was born January 14, 1946 in McKeesport and moved to North Versailles, PA. She was the beloved daughter of Ruth Casey (Buzek) and Raymond Casey Sr. She departed this life at 4:25am Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Manor Care-Shadyside Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Salter Sr.; mother, Ruth Casey (Buzek); and brothers Raymond Casey Jr., James Casey and John Casey.
Darlene attended CCAC and graduated from Connelly Nursing School in Pittsburgh PA. Upon graduating, she worked as an LPN for Riverside Nursing Home.
Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, praying and worshipping, cooking/baking, reading, listening to music, Bingo, fishing, gardening, watching movies (especially Tyler Perry MADEA), eating out, movies, sports, and comedy.
Darlene was a member of Mulberry Community Full Gospel Church located in Wilkinsburg, PA.

James (“Jim”) Emery, 91, of Alachua, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL after a brief illness. He was born September 1929 in Dravosburg, Pa., to the late David and Elizabeth Emery and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy, his sons, James (Chris), and Glenn (Kelly), his grandchildren, James, Michael (Ashley), and Tedi Marie and his great-grandchildren, Iris and Beckett.
He graduated from McKeesport Vocational High School prior to serving in the Army during the Korean War. Upon returning home after his service he became a carpenter at Mesta Machine Company where he worked for more than 29 years. Prior to moving to Alachua, Fla., Jim was a long-time resident of West Mifflin, Pa., where he coached his boys in little league, was their "den mother" in the Cub Scouts and biggest supporter in everything they did.

Born in McKeesport on December 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Papen) DeVore. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Joseph Church and she enjoyed the casino. She was the wife of the late Richard P. Milko; mother of Karen (Kevin) Lutz of West Mifflin; grandmother of Jonathan (Samantha) Lutz; Great Grandma Evelyn to Savannah Lutz and Jameson Lutz; dog mom to Misty, Chase, Gabby, Geno, Bootsie, Cuddles, Gigi and her bird, Noodles; also cousins Ruth and John Brown of White Oak and late cousin, Lee Sutch.

Richard W. Brendza, age 88, of Clairton and formerly of McKeesport, passed away peacefully in his home comforted by his family on March 16, 2021. Born on January 31, 1933 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Janocko) Brendza. Richard was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, an electrical motor inspector for U. S. Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin and a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Clairton Worship site. After retirement Richard enjoyed spending time on the Monongahela riding his Jet Ski and will always be remembered for his fun loving personality. Richard is survived by his loving daughter Sharon Brendza, his caregiver with whom he resided.
