Barbara J. (Stewart) Anderson, age 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was born August 1, 1942 in Pitcairn, the daughter of the late Thomas and Araminta (Elder) Stewart. She was involved with AARP and was part of the Order of Eastern Star Irwin Chapter 400. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl J. Anderson; and brother Robert Stewart. Cecilia Elizabeth Crawford, 79, of Duquesne, was born on March 25, 1945, in Long Branch, New Jersey. She was the beloved daughter of the late Rudolph and Margurite Swain Accoo.
Cecilia peacefully departed this life, surrounded by her loved ones, on October 24, 2024, at AHN Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Crawford, her sister, Joann Accoo, and her grandson, Jamar Bethea.
Cecilia attended Long Branch Senior High School and continued her education in Early Childhood Education, eventually receiving her master's degree from Carlow University. Following her education, she embarked on a career in early childhood education. She was also an office manager for over 30 years.
One of Cecilia's most significant accomplishments was educating her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a passionate bowler and became a Brunswick national champion. Additionally, she enjoyed challenging puzzles and arts and crafts.
Cecilia was an active member of Payne Chapel A.M.E. Church of Duquesne, PA., under the leadership of Rev. Samuel A. Harris, Jr., Pastor.
Cecilia will be cherished in her memory by her children, six daughters, Renee (Charles) Cochran, Theresa Bethea, Andrea Bethea, Asia Crawford, Jasmine Crawford, and Mary Crawford; two sons, Sean Johnson and Kali (April) Moore; 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Rudolph Accoo, along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

John L. Likar III, 69, of North Versailles, died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at home. He was born April 6, 1955 in McKeesport, a son of Janis (Coghe) Likar of North Versailles and the late John L. Likar Jr. John was a third generation self-employed owner of Likar Roofing Company, North Versailles. He was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, St. Robert Bellarmine Church and was a member of the board of directors of the Eastern Area Pre Hospital Services, Turtle Creek and also a member of Shidle Lodge No. 601, F. & A.M., Irwin. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 47 years Patricia A. (Hallick) Likar; his children John L Likar IV of Plum, Justin (Cynthia) Likar of Murrysville, Stephen (Lauren) Likar of North Huntingdon; his grandchildren Kayla, Gianna, Justin, Lucas, Lillianne, and Beau; his siblings Mark Likar of North Versailles, Robert (Deborah) Likar of Irwin, Connie (Bob) Lenart of Maryland, and James (Sheryl) Likar of Level Green; also aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews, and his faithful dog Louie. Friends were received at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway East McKeesport. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, East McKeesport. Terry served as Fire Control Technician in the U.S. Navy from September 5, 1967 – June 5, 1973. During his time in the Navy, he served aboard the USS Theodore E. Chandler (DD-717) and the USS Wiltsie (DD-716). While in the Navy, he served in the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal, among many other honors.
Terry was deeply passionate about boating and spending summers with his family at Lake Cumberland. He had a keen interest in collecting guns and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including motorcycles, woodworking, and tinkering. Above all, he adored his grandchildren, taking immense pride in their achievements and enjoyed spoiling them at every opportunity.
Terry is survived by his wife, Doris (Nettles) Barnes; his two sons, Charles T. Barnes (Kandice Bluhm Barnes) and David A. Barnes (Chelsea Gossman Barnes); five grandchildren, Audrey S. Barnes, Cameron T. Barnes, Courtney S. Barnes, Rylee J. Barnes, and Bekka R. Barnes. He is also survived by his five sisters, Sandy Mancini, Dorsey (Thomas) Solich, Carol (Jim) Howard, Sheryl (Ed) Eichenlaub, and Sue (Kevin) Kurta, as well as fourteen nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Sherry K. Barnes, and brother-in-law, Paul Mancini.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, PA, 15110, 412-466-3300, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin, with Military Honors.

Stjepan "Steve" Spigelski, 91, of North Versailles passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. He was born In Yugoslavia on May 14, 1933 and was the son to the late George and Anna (Skvaric) Spigelski. He was the husband of the late Anna (Pisko) Spigelski before her passing in August 2008. Steve worked for 50+ years as a crane operator for US Steel - National Tube. He also worked for McHolme Construction as a grounds keeper and handyman for many years. Donald R. Gold, age 94 of North Huntingdon, passed away on October 31, 2024. He was born on August 21, 1930 in Mt. Vernon, New York, a son of the late Arthur Gold and Lilian Berlin Gold. Arthur was a member of the Congregation Emanu-El Israel Synagogue and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean War. In his free time, Donald was a swimming officiant and also enjoyed photography. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his late wife, Diane Tauder, and one sister Anita Boas. He is survived by three sons, Duff Gold (Tracy), Dean Gold, and Dan Gold (Kristen), two daughters, Dana Gold and Dale Gold, and five grandchildren, Micaiah, Desmond, Abra, Dakota, and Kaelin. Mary Lou Jeffcoat, age 55, of McKeesport, died October 26, 2024, at UPMC McKeesport. Born May 31, 1969, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence O. Craig, Jr. and Mary Holden and the widow of the late Jesse Lee Jeffcoat.
Mary was a retired home health nurses aide. She was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church. Mary enjoyed, traveling, camping, and was a motorcylce enthusiast. She will always be remembered for being a free spirit and loving life to the fullest.

James Michael Ondrako, age 84, of McKeesport, passed away on October 27, 2024, at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. Born on September 14, 1940, in Uniontown, he was the son of the late John and Mildred (Crable) Ondrako and the beloved husband of Nadine (Gouker) Ondrako. James served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged, carrying with him a lifelong sense of duty and dedication. He was a member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701. Professionally, James worked as a draftsman at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, retiring after many dedicated years. A man of diverse interests, he enjoyed fishing and was a collector of knives, watches, and clocks. He was also a talented artist, sharing his gifts through photography, painting, metalsmithing, and drawing. In his spare time, he found satisfaction in tinkering in his basement, fixing things, and working on cars.
