Randi L. Jarrett, age 66 of North Versailles died March 14, 2024 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was born January 13, 1958 in Mckeesport, a son of Caroline and the late Donald Jarrett. Randi was a graduate of East Allegheny High School and a member of the Miller United Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Patricia A. Sivak, age 85, of North Versailles, formerly of Port Vue, died peacefully at home on March 13, 2024. Born October 12, 1938, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Viola (Lineburg) Marcinko and loving wife of 58 years to the late James Sivak.
Her life was marked by a deep faith as a devoted member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, and the former St Stephen Church and St. Joseph Church. Engaging with her community, Pat was involved in various clubs, including the Port Vue Women's Club, Port Vue Seniors, the McKeesport Hospital Auxiliary, the St. Stephen's Christian Mothers and Rosary groups. She participated in many card clubs. Pat enjoyed and had special talents in cooking, baking, gardening, and crafting. She also was a Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holder for many years and enjoyed attending games with her family. In addition to caring for her family, she held a variety of secretarial positions throughout her life, including US Steel, Port Vue Borough, and a local shipping company.

Daniel E. Taylor, age 74, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Paramount Senior Living - South Hills. He retired after more than 35 years as an iron worker for Iron Workers Local No. 3 in Pittsburgh and was also an avid farmer. He graduated from California University, where he received a wrestling scholarship. Born February 28, 1950 in New Eagle, he was a son of the late Donald Earl and Anna Marie (Bendel) Taylor. He is survived by his long-time companion, Kathy J. Curry of West Elizabeth; siblings, Christine (Mike) Barber of Salem, OR, Tim (Robin) Taylor of Sorento, FL, Jeff "JD" (Karen) Taylor of Monessen, Duane (Jeanie) Taylor of Eighty-Four and Bill "BJ" (Chrissy) Taylor of Carroll Twp.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Les Taylor. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Bonnie Estochin, age 76, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Clairton, passed away on March 12, 2024. She was born on August 21, 1947, a daughter of the late George and Alfreda Churchfield. Lucy A. Miller, age 72, of Homestead, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in UPMC Mercy. Born in Fairmont, WV, on February 23, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James and Alyce (Wright) Hooper. She was a certified nursing assistant, working in home care and was retired from Eastern Area Adult Services as a caregiver. She loved cooking, listening to music, tailoring and sewing clothes, bingo and spending time with family and friends.
Lucy is the mother of Denise (Darin) Jones of Glassport and Jessica Becht of Homestead. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Gwendolyn Sumlin, Joanne King, Ronald White, John Edward White, Yvonna Daniels and Joyce Jones.
A commemoration of her life will be held at a later date. Lucy graciously donated her body to medical science to further education and research.

Louise C. Atkins, age 86, of McKeesport, died March 10, 2024, at Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport. Born January 6, 1938, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Angie (Sweeney) Conners and the wife of the late Jim Atkins and Louis Floris. Louise was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church, and was also involved in various organizations, including the Moose Lodge, Boston Vets, and the American Legion in White Oak and Dravosburg. Her commitment to service and community was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a school bus driver for 40 years for the McKeesport Area School District, and the students affectionately referred to her as Ms. Louise. In her younger years, Louise found joy in simple pleasures, often enjoying nights out to dine and dance with her husband. Her love for life and her dedication to others will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.

John David Kurnock, a beloved son, father, and brother, peacefully passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 48 in McKeesport. Born on February 17, 1976, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Wanda Guy and the late William Guy.
John's kindness, laughter, and love for his family will be dearly missed. He leaves behind his cherished mother, Wanda Guy; his devoted sister, Wendy (Earl) Goreck; his five loving children, Brookelynn, Tabatha, Kimberlee, Zachary, and Tiffani; his six adoring grandchildren; and his sister Patricia. Kevin Howard "Cougar" Klein, 64, of Butler, formerly Port Vue, passed away Thursday March 7, 2024. He was born September 23, 1959 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Curtis H. and Flora Evelyn (Castro) Klein. Kevin was a 1977 graduate of South Allegheny High School where he was a Big Ten Conference football champion his senior year. He was a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania Magna Cum Laude with High Honors where he received a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. He was a proud Marine, receiving the Meritorious Captains Mast Award for service above the call of duty on three occasions, and foreign service being a full year in Kyoto, Japan. He was an Agent for Erie Insurance Group and later a Counselor and Recreation Therapist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, spending time helping veterans all over Wyoming and Pennsylvania. Kevin was also involved with Project Healing Waters and Toys for Tots with his lifetime service to his fellow countrymen. In his younger days, he was a Boy Scout and played the guitar. He also was a player and coach with Port Vue Athletic Association, went on a Mission Trip to Romania with First Free Evangelical Church, as well as being an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman.
