Patrick “Denny” D. Mannion, age 82 of Lincoln Borough, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 in Jefferson Hospital surrounded by family. Born January 13, 1942 in Braddock, he was a son of the late Patrick T. and Ann (Onda) Mannion. A US Air Force Veteran, Patrick was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Eugene Church, and retired as an electrician at GM’s Fisher Body Plant in West Mifflin. His family will remember him as a fun loving man who loved to tell stories and crack jokes, loved to sing and root on the local sports teams, and was a car and racing enthusiast who even worked on a pit crew. Most of all, they’ll remember him as a devoted father and grandfather and for being fiercely proud of his Irish and Mannion family heritage. They will always love him as much as he loved them: with all of their hearts. Patrick is survived by his daughters Danica (Jeff) Miller of Elizabeth Twp. and Jessica Mannion of Lincoln Borough; his grandchildren Sydney and Luke; his sister Patty Ann (Anthony) Zusinas of Moon Twp.; and also nieces and nephews. Anna Mae Puskaric, age 94 of Chesaning, MI and formerly of White Oak, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in Chesaning Comfort Care. Born May 9, 1929 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Nellie (Rausch) Dannenhauer. Anna Mae graduated from McKeesport High School and was a secretary for the Potter-McCune Company for many years before its closing. She always helped family and friends and was a volunteer in the kitchen at McKeesport’s Meals on Wheels for over 25 years. She loved line dancing and only stopped a few years ago. Anna Mae was an active member of the Evangelical Congregational Church of McKeesport for much of her life.

Duane R. Halt, age 80 of Lincoln Borough, passed away at home on Monday, February 12, 2024. Born January 1, 1944 in Clairton, he was a son of the late William J. and Helen (Layko) Halt. A US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Duane worked as a truck driver for Swank Construction, at Clairton Slag in West Elizabeth, and lastly as a case aide for Ward Home, Inc. in Mt. Lebanon. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Dianne (Cochran) Halt; his children Duane (Sherri) Halt of New Castle, Renee (Bill) Halt-Maglet of Webster, and Georgette (Jeff) Ayres of North Huntingdon; his seven grandchildren Haylie (Kevin) Helinski, Randi Parkinson, Jake (Anthony) Withers, Nathan Withers, Celine (Tyler) Halt, Dean (Ezra) and Will Ayres, and his great grandchildren Addy and Cam Helinski; his sisters Norma Kerr of Elizabeth and Linda (Joe) Paul of Pleasant Hills; his sister-in-law Corinne Halt, nieces and nephews; and his dogs Clyde and Baylie. Alberta Geraldine (DiFalco) Julian, age 89 of Pleasant Hills and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in Jefferson Hospital. Born November 5, 1934 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (DaBaldo) DiFalco. A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Alberta was a member of the mothers club of the former St. Clare of Assisi Parish, a volunteer at St. Clare Convent, and a former Democratic Committeewoman. She also enjoyed her many trips to New York City. Besides her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony James Julian, who passed away October 29, 2021, and her siblings: Joseph DiFalco, Anna Pastore, and Ellen Julian. She is survived by her children Thomas Julian of Pittsburgh and Barbara (Joe) Mills of West Mifflin; and also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. After retiring from managing an auto salvage business, he enjoyed spending time with and caring for his family, working outside with wood, and doing puzzles. Joe was looked up to by everyone, both family and community, for his no nonsense guidance and ability to handle problems. Born October 10, 1939 in Large, he was a son of the late Joseph P. Raposky Sr. and the late Mary (Sopko) Raposky. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy C. A member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Mary worked as a clerk at Kaufmann's Department Store, for Nabisco in Pittsburgh, and at Basa's Greenhouse. She was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #146 and its Pensioneers and Senior Women's Club; the Penn Sembles, the Royal Neighbors, S.O.A.R., and the Mon Yough Friendship Club. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank "Tata" Pavlecic, who passed away August 16, 2006; her sons Frank C. Pavlecic, Jr., who passed away February 25, 2018, and Gary Pavlecic, Sr., who passed away April 21, 2009; and her siblings: Andrew Basa, Kathryn Cipcic, and Rose Patella. Patrick J. Evans, age 71 of North Huntingdon and formerly of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in
UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born March 27, 1952 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Edward E. and Virginia (Calvert) Evans. After graduating from California University of Pennsylvania, Patrick was a successful businessman working in sales for Consolidated Graphics Communications for 45 years and was a co-founder of Mount Vernon Healthcare assisted living facilities in Elizabeth Township and South Park. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in North Huntingdon.
For Pat, life was a celebration and family meant everything to him. He loved to travel with his family (especially to Hilton Head and Disney World), to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events and performances, and to dance with his truly beloved late wife of 46 years, Barbara K. (Kish) Evans, who he now joins.
In his spare time, he also enjoyed running.
Patrick will be remembered as a man who loved to laugh and have a good time. He always made sure that everyone was taken care of and he would do anything for anyone (but especially for his family). He never missed a chance to tell you that he loved you. He is survived by his children Laura (Kevin) Ward of Gibsonia, Brian (Theresa) Evans of North Huntingdon, Maggie (Brian) Carlton of North Huntingdon, and Elizabeth (Adam) Holy of Wexford, his grandchildren (to whom he was lovingly referred to as “Bubba”) Benjamin and Zachary Ward, Katelyn and Madelyn Evans, Miles Carlton, and Avery Holy; his brothers Edward (Jean) Evans of Chicago, Michael (Camille) Evans of Upper St. Clair, and Thomas (Mary) Evans of Rostraver Twp.; and also cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Born March 4, 1942 in Jefferson Hills, he was a son of the late James Edward Barrickman Sr. and the late Mary (Wray) Barrickman.
