Douglas R. Weimer, Sr. age 85, of McKeesport, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was the son of the late Ross S.  and Gertrude Weimer; beloved husband of Louise H. (Ballog) Weimer.
He was retired from the McKeesport Parking Authority, former employee of US Steel, Duquesne; manager at Carnival Beverage in Duquesne; security officer at Wabco and also security manager for Zugarman Inc. and Giant Eagle. He was Committee man and former Council member for the City of McKeesport. Douglas belonged to the 11th Ward Welfare Assoc., and the Ushers Club of St. Pius.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Robert) Pegnato, of North Huntingdon; his son, Denny (Darnell) Fedor, of Washington, Pa.; grandchildren, Tyler and Layla Pegnato and Jericho Fedor; sister, Geraldine Grundler, of Naples, Fla.; and also nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Regis Fedor. Rodney was a retired Fire Marshall for the city of Sheridan, CO. He loved being a firefighter and woodworking. He was a member of Mon Yough Carvers and a very active member of the E. McKeesport VFW Post 8430.

Betty Ruth Kline, age 88, of White Oak, died May 28, 2016 at her residence. She was born in McKeesport on August 22, 1927 and is the daughter of the late Max and Leona Berkowitz Greenfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of over 60 years, Bernard H. Kline, a WW ll veteran and her brother, Donald Greenfield.

She was a retired registered nurse, a former Brownie Leader, loved to go to lunch with her friends and play bridge and Mahj Jongg. She was a member of Temple B’Nai Israel, the Sisterhood, B’Nai Brith Women and Hadassa. She truly enjoyed singing and tapdancing in the Sisterhood Plays and at the membership luncheons.

She is survived by daughters; Ellie (Bruce) Lederman of Pacific Palisades, CA, Meryl (Fred) Trachtman of Olney, MD, son; George (Mary Jo) Kline of White Oak, grandchildren; Eric, Jeffrey, and Joshua (Elizabeth) Lederman, Reita, Lena, and Max Kline, and Rachel and Molly Trachtman, and sister, Phyllis Greenwald of N. Hills, California.

Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Tuesday from 1:30 until 3:00 pm. when services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Rabbi Paul Tuchman will officiate the services and the eulogy will be by Rabbi Daniel Schiff. Burial will follow in Agudath Achim Cemetery in Forest Hills.

Born in Homestead on September 18, 1965, he was the son of the late Harry and Shirley (Ireland) Schubert. An employee of DeCarlo Distributing,Jim loved to DJ and enjoyed amusement parks, roller coasters, baseball, and Laurel Highlands Campland.

Surviving him, his beloved wife Patricia Diane (Stewart) Schubert of Donegal, daughters; Jamie Schubert of Finleyville, Courtney Schubert of McKeesport and Shannon Schubert of McKeesport, step-son; Brandon Nowikowski of Donegal, brother; Ronald Schubert of Homestead, and sister; Elaine Burgey of North Huntingdon.

Ella Marie Wilson, 58, passed away peacefully at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville on April 28, 2016.    She was born July 1, 1957 in McKeesport, daughter of the late John F. and Ethel Kristufek Wilson.  In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her beloved brother James Wilson and niece Lydia Wilson.  She is survived by brother John Jr. (Beverly) with whom she resided, brother Robert of White Oak, and sister-in-law Audra, nephews Grant and Alec, and niece Lily Wilson, all of Bethel Park.    Ella was employed at Vocational Business Alliance McKeesport prior to her retirement in 2012.  She was a longtime fan of the Steelers and pro wrestling.  She greatly enjoyed bowling and dancing with her friends at MYARC.  Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Tamika Olverson, and to our extended family and friends.  The family also thanks the staff at Forbes Hospital for their caring and compassion.

He was a score keeper for Serra Catholic Girls Basketball. He was a graduate and star quarterback at Western State. He was a member of St. Mark's Parish, he loved trains and was his grandkids No. 1 sports fan. He was loved by everyone he met.
