Stephanie Hodge Classic, 58, of Dravosburg, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was born in McKeesport on October 19th, 1960, to the late Robert Hodge and surviving Marie Valiknac Hodge. Stephanie was the loving wife of 31 years to Christopher Classic. She is survived by her mother, Marie Valiknac Hodge, of Jefferson Hills, children, Crystal (Ryan Markosky) Jeznis of Fort Myers, FL, Breanne (John) Morabito, of South Baldwin, Jamie (Michael) Merlino, of Clairton, sisters, Pamela Baronti, of Charleroi, Michele (Blaine) McLaughlin, of Four Oaks, NC. And brother, Robert “Curt” Hodge,  of Long Island, NY,  grandchildren, Landon Markosky, Christopher Merlino, many nieces and nephews, and 2 granddogs, Loui and Roxi. Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, and aunt, Stephanie Cawley. She was a registered nurse, and was employed for 17 years at the UPMC Health First Medical in McKeesport. Stephanie was an attendee at both Holy Spirit and First Christian Church. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Elrama and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and she enjoyed gambling at the casino.

She is survived by her son, Terry Abraham of Glassport, daughter, Jody Deann Govannucci of Herminie, brother, Richard Matthews of Sutersville, sisters, Brenda Minda of Elizabeth, and Anita Keefer of Georgia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by sons, Robin D. Matthews and Rodger L. Matthews, brothers, Robert E. and Howard Matthews, and sister, Belva Keener. Helen M. "Peggy" Mazzafer, 92, of West Mifflin, formerly of Dravosburg, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019. She was born January 24, 1927 in Dravosburg and was the daughter of the late Clyde William and Anna Frances Olson Bumbarger. Peggy was the wife of the late John Pershing Mazzafer, who passed away February 18, 2011. She was an avid bingo player and was famous for her baking, especially her nut cookies and rolls. She had a sense of humor and was known for her quick one liners that her family affectionately called "Nanafers". She was the last survivor of her siblings.

He is survived by his wife Veronica Lucas; daughters Barbara (James) Daniels of Midland, TX and Bonnie (David) Hayford of Jacksonville, Fl; son Brian (Bobbi Kay) Lucas of Horsehoe Bay, TX; step son Charles Bodnar; step daughters Cheryl (Bob) Harshman, Deborah (Robert) Kahl and Yvonne (Larry) Schultz; also many grandchildren, great grandchildren; step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Bernadette Werntges and sister Bernice Perhacs.  Bernie was a retired design engineer for US Steel, a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish; Men's Club; church choir; K of C #4210, where he was financial secretary for over 40 years, and past Grand Knight.  He also served in the US Army Korean Conflict.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Fri. from 5 to 8.  A funeral mass will be held Sat. 10:00 am at Holy Name Church.

Terry was Secretary of the Class of 1968, Thomas Jefferson High School and before moving to Colorado Springs worked for her brother-in-law, Dr. Richard Bannon, D.C. in his Chiropractic offices in Elizabeth Township.  Her career continued when she moved to Colorado Springs and joined the Chiropractic office of Dr. William Salsman, D.C., where she worked until her retirement.

Smith, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019.  She was born July 20, 1930 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Richard J. and Margaret (McCarren) Caulfield.  Prior to her retirement, Rosemary was a consultant for AT&T Marketing Communications and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed baking pies and was a loving and devoted mother.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John P. Caulfied and Richard Caulfield; and sisters, Margaret McCusker, Patricia Balzer, Shirley Barnes, and Sarah Jane.  She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Theodore Smith; son, Theodore A. Smith and his wife, Patricia; daughter, Sharon L. Polovina and her husband, Thomas; sisters, Frances West and Kathleen Vanderveerd; grandchildren, Brandon (Michelle) Polovina, Jennifer (Robert) Mallory, Kellynn (Matthew) Krinock, Nathaniel and Trevor Smith;  great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jordyn and Noah.  Friends will be received from 2-4  and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W.
