Robert M. Schweitzer, age 69 of West Mifflin, died suddenly on Friday, March 17, 2017. Robert was born in McKeesport on May 7, 1947, son of the late Herman R. and Mary Rose Martucci Schweitzer. He retired happily as a Lieutenant for the West Mifflin Police Department after 29 years of service. He was a member of the #3 Fire Department of West Mifflin, American Legion Post 712 in Pleasant Hills, Fraternal Order of Police, VFW Post 802 in Wilson, Syria Shriners, and the Bethel Park Lodge #761 F&AM for over 39 years. He also loved watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and spending time with his fellow friends.

Jack T. Riley, age 86 of McKeesport, died Friday, March 3, 2017. He was born in McKeesport on April 8, 1930 and is the son of the late Philip and Mary Lacey Riley. He served in the Army during the Korean War in the 3rd Infantry 7th Armored Division and received the following military medals; Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal (2 Bronze Stars), Combat Infantry Badge, and United Nations Service Medal. He was retired from US Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin. He loved walking and was an avid sports fan, especially the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He is survived by his partner, Dolores Chancio of McKeesport; son, George A. Sabol of West Mifflin; daughters, Sue A. Edwards of Duquesne, Agnes (Michael) Faulds of West Mifflin; sisters, Helen Uhrin and Nora Riley of Versailles; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Philip and James Riley.

Edward Thomas Kreiner, age 87, of the Baltimore, MD area passed away on February 26, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Frank Anthony Kreiner Sr. and Helen A. (Conniff) Kreiner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Lieutenant after 22 years of service. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of several organizations which included the VFW, DAV, American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association and the Military Officers Association of America. Mr. Kreiner was also a 32nd Degree Mason.
