"Vickie" Tomco, age 64 of White Oak, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 in UPMC East Hospital, Monroeville.  Born May 14, 1955 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Marie (Bishop) Daczkowski.  A medical assistant with Dr. Richard Rudman in Monroeville, Victoria was an active member of Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport, formerly serving as a marriage counselor, secretary, and in the Rosary Society.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Curt Tomco, Sr..  She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years William Tomco; her daughter Tabitha (Scott) Schempp of Munhall; her daughter-in-law Susan Tomco of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren Curt, Jr., Kyle, and Carl Tomco, Mason Thompson-Lowe, and Morgan and Jordan Schempp; her siblings Debbie (Scott) Campbell of Forward Twp., David Daczkowski of Elizabeth Twp., and Robin (Don) Super of Cortland, OH; nieces and nephews; and her great-niece Millie.

James Herald Cain, age 99, of Greensburg, formerly of North Versailles, passed away Friday August 30, 2019. He was born March 29, 1920 in White Valley, the son of the late Thomas and Emma Cain. He served in the Navy during World War II and then went onto work as a machinist at Westinghouse for over 35 years before retiring. He was a longtime member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport and was always proud of his loving family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mercedes Burkhardt. He is survived by his daughters Mary Lou (Stan) Uram of Jeanette and Nancy (Steve) Hudacko of Greensburg; grandchildren Patrick (Elizabeth) Hudacko, Rae Ann (Dwayne) Santivicca, Amie (Jason) Yost, Greg Martin and Michael (Sharon) Martin; 12 great grandchildren; and little sister (who is 96 years old) Agnes Sergy of Braddock.

Julius Nagy, 88, of White Oak died Sept. 4, 2019. He is the son of the late Charles and Julia Nagy. Beloved husband of the late Julia (Wargo) Nagy. He is survived by his daughter Julie A. Kuhar of North Huntingdon; grandchildren Jessica and Mackenzie Kuhar; niece Charlotte Bednarousky. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers. He was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Duquesne where he was a lifetime member and chief elder. He was a Duquesne University graduate and served in the U.S. Navy Korean Conflict. He was also a free mason and a retired school teacher for the Duquesne School District. Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne Sun. 1-4 and 6-8. A funeral service will be held Mon. 11am at the Hungarian Reformed Church. Interment following Hungarian Reformed Cemetery.

Terrence Eugene Snow, most recently of McKeesport, PA, but born and raised in Clairton, PA, entered this world on February 13, 1962, to the late Irma Hunter and James Snow, Jr.   He transitioned on August 28, 2019.

Terry spent all of his formative years in Clairton, beginning his education in the Clairton School System, before finishing in Detroit, under the guidance of his sister Janet.  He leaves to mourn his partner of over 23 years, Heather Drost.  From their union was born a son, Terrence Eugene Snow, Jr.   Terry also leaves behind his firstborn, Terrence Johnson, and a daughter-in-law, LaTisha.  He is the proud grandfather of their children: Laterrin, Terri, Tanija, Terriyah, and Tru, all of Detroit, MI.  One of ten (10) children, affectionately known as The Ten Tribes of Irma, Terry is the ninth child and fifth son. His siblings are Estalita, Janet, Joseph, LaFawn, James III, Keith, Richard, Bobbie Jo, and William.  He is also mourned by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Eunice H. Sayles, 65, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, departed this life on  Friday, August 30, 2019, in Allegheny General Hospital.

Ms. Sayles was born on October 1, 1953, in McKeesport, PA.  The daughter of the late Frank Sayles, and Evelyn Simms Sayles. Eunice was also preceded in death by her son Arthur Sayles in 2003.

She was a member of children's programming and women's ministry at the Salvation Army in McKeesport.  She was a loving mother who also worked hard caring for her family while creating and maintaining a happy home.

She is survived by her son Francis (Gina) Hvozdik, of Glassport, daughter, Theresa (Bernie) McAllister of Cincinnati Ohio, sisters Irene Orenak, of Irwin, Frances (Ed) Matias, of Glassport,  Martha Opfer, of Bethel Park, and brother Ted (Pauline) Dworek of Port Vue, grandchildren Jaison (Beth)  Kinser of Cincinnati OH, Jennifer (Brandon) DeVerse of Murfreesboro TN, Bernie McAllister, Adam (Nicole) McAllister, Rachael McAllister, all of Cincinnati OH, Ryan (Lori) Hvozdik of Glassport,  Jeremy Hvozdik of Lincoln Boro, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and caretakers sister Martha Opfer and niece Pat Garancsi.  Jean was preceded in death by her husband, the late George F. Hvozdik, and son James Hvozdik, as well four brothers, and two sisters. Jean was a former member of the Queen of The Rosary Church in Glassport, and worked as a cook and caterer for Joe Shemms Catering, in Braddock. Arrangements have been entrusted to E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave., Pa. 15045. Mass will be held on Wednesday September 11th at John J. Kane Mckeesport at 11 am. Richard A. Humphries, 94 of McKeesport, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 29, 2019 in UPMC McKeesport. He was born April 4, 1925 the son of the late Alexander S. and Edith (Thompson) Humphries. He was preceded in death by brothers Rev. Roy Humphries and Dale B. Humphries Sr. and a sister Margaret Mackey. He is survived by a sister in law Estella M. Humphries and nieces and nephews. 

Richard was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army for two tours of duty. He was retired from the DoAll Company. Private family burial will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park with military honors by the U.S. Army. Arrangments are under the care of the William H. Craig Funeral Home Inc. McKeesport, PA. Sergio Lazzaris, age 84 of Jefferson Hills, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at home on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.  A dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, he was born October 14, 1934 in Northern Italy (Vallada, Agordina), the son of the late Libro and Henrietta (Fiocco) Lazzaris.  A skilled mason and member of the Union #9 Bricklayers, Sergio was a US Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75 in Clairton.  He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 59 years, Elena (Marraccini) Lazzaris; his sons Dino Lazzaris of Clairton and Bruno (Diane) Lazzaris of Elizabeth Twp.; his grandchildren Vincent and Julia Lazzaris; his brother George (Franca) Lazzaris of Horsehead, NY; and his nieces and nephews.  Sergio loved sharing a meal with family and friends, fine woodworking and craftsmanship, hunting with his sons and grandchildren, and playing the accordion in the company of good friends.
