Albert “Jake” Popojas, age 84, of Liberty Boro, died May 26, 2016.  He was born in Duquesne on October 1, 1931 and is the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Huszar) Popojas and beloved husband of Theresa (Bollas) Popojas. 

He was a member of St. Mark Church and Liberty Borough Veterans Association.  Jake retired from U.S. Steel where he worked as a bricklayer.

Services were held Thursday at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177).

Gyergyo, age 76 of Greensburg, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016.  He was born in North Braddock on July 4, 1939 and is the son of Irene Poch and John Gyergyo.  He was employed at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh until he retired.  He is survived by his son, Jeffery Gyergyo and daughter, Kelly (Bob Fraas) Gyergyo ; brother, Dave (Yoshi) Gyergyo of Jacksonville, NC; sister, Marion Morgan of West Palm Beach, FL and Rick Millen, who was like a son to him.  He is preceded in death by his son, John A. She was born Sept. 16, 1932, in McKeesport, and was the daughter of the late William and Zella Maude (Conant) Hatcher; and the wife of the late Robert L. Barth and the late Thomas J. Kelly. She was an active member of Pittsburgh Church of Christ in Oakland. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lee Ann (Jay) Sparks, of McKeesport, Roberta "Bobbie" (Keith) Kelly and Pam (Carey) Pravdica, both of Newburgh, Ind.; brother, William (Nancy) Hatcher, of Delmont; uncle, Robert Hatcher, of White Oak; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two nephews. Ella Marie Wilson, 58, passed away peacefully at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville on April 28, 2016.    She was born July 1, 1957 in McKeesport, daughter of the late John F. and Ethel Kristufek Wilson.  In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her beloved brother James Wilson and niece Lydia Wilson.  She is survived by brother John Jr. (Beverly) with whom she resided, brother Robert of White Oak, and sister-in-law Audra, nephews Grant and Alec, and niece Lily Wilson, all of Bethel Park.    Ella was employed at Vocational Business Alliance McKeesport prior to her retirement in 2012.  She was a longtime fan of the Steelers and pro wrestling.  She greatly enjoyed bowling and dancing with her friends at MYARC.  Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Tamika Olverson, and to our extended family and friends.  The family also thanks the staff at Forbes Hospital for their caring and compassion.

Her served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a Hardware Manager for Sears for 47 years. He loved reading the NY Times and listening to talk radio shows.
Paul is survived by his brothers; Michael J. (Maryann) Estok of White Oak, sister in law Sylvia Estok of McKeesport; nephews; Gregory (Kelly) Estok of Duquesne, Paul (Mary) Estok of Brunswick, GA, Mike (Yvonne) Estok of Mechanicsburg, Matthew Estok of White Oak. Also great-nephews and great-nieces.
