Gerald T. Likar, 81, of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday September 1, 2020, at home. Jerry worked his entire working life for the family business Likar Roofing of North Versailles.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon, and was a loving man who enjoyed being around his family. He was a son of the late John L. Sr. and Constance (Winslow) Likar and was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Ruth A. (McSteen) Likar and a brother John L. Likar Jr. He is survived by his children Teresa Griffiths and her husband Jim, Kathy Parry and her husband Jerry, and Gerald W. Likar all of North Huntingdon; his former daughter in law Carla Likar; his grandchildren, Kimberly (Joseph) Kiraly, Paul (Amanda) Griffiths, Megan (Eric) Lipp, Natalie Parry (fiancé Josh Miller) and Corbin and Izabelle Likar; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Tyler, Jayce, and Vivian; a brother Vincent (Iris) Likar; a sister in law Janis Likar; also nieces and nephews.

Shirley A. Noll, 87, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020. She was born January 24, 1933 in Versailles and was the daughter of the late J. William and Helen (Semcoski) Gates, Sr. She was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church and had worked for the former King and Keeney Oil Co. in Boston. She is survived by her husband, Gerald H. Noll, brother-in-law, Donald (Barbara) Noll of West Mifflin, and nieces and nephews.

Mary M. (Miele) Helfmann, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born September 29, 1943 in Braddock, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony Mylo and Mary (Wallace) Miele. Prior to her retirement, Mary was a floor manager for Walmart and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, reading on her Kindle, playing computer games, attending high school plays and dining with her friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman F. Helfmann; brothers, Anthony (Eileen) Miele, Raymond Miele, David (partner, Dorothy) Miele, Robert (Danielle) Miele and Armand Miele. She is survived by her son, Todd and his wife, Kelly; two daughters Tracie Helfmann, Toni Kunselman and her husband, Erik; two grandsons, Joshua (Jessica) and Tyler Helfmann; and two grand dogs EmmyLou (Harris) Kunselman and Waylon (Jennings) Kunselman. Rosemarie was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon where she sang in the church choir. Prior to her retirement she was employed in the retail sales industry. She enjoyed shopping, flea markets, travel, playing the organ and a was a great keyboardist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Conti. William Daniel Speidel, Jr., 94, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday night, August 26, 2020 at his home in Elizabeth Twp. Born on April 26, 1926 in East McKeesport, he was the son of William Daniel Speidel, Sr. and Martha (Jones) Speidel. Left to cherish his legacy are his wife of nearly 70 years, Florence (Delo) Speidel and their children Carol (James) Anderson of Mechanicsburg, William D. (Barbara) Speidel, III of Butler and David (Barbara) Speidel of South Fayette; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill graduated from East McKeesport High School where he played football, basketball and was president of the student council.

Isabel (Garcia) Suarez 101, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at home. She was born April 15, 1919 in Clarksburg, WV, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Adella (Garcia) Garcia. She was the wife of the late Alfred "Fred" Suarez who passed away December 10, 1999. Isabel was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church and was a Charter Member of the Central Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in Elizabeth Township. She was retired from the Elizabeth Forward School District. Her hobbies included crafting, baking and making candy.
