Stephen grew up in McKeesport, PA that was a tight-knit community where he was able to enjoy his community, family, and friends. He later moved to Wilkinsburg, PA  where he made his home. Stephen was the Owner-Operator of Imperial Coach Limousine Company. He was a proud entrepreneur and was dedicated to each of his businesses.  He enjoyed his Restaurant & Catering business and the constant smiles that lit up each clients face. He took pride in knowing that he had deliciously satisfied, each client "palate", yet nothing could ever compare to the smile and delight, that he loved to see crossing; daughter Stephanie's face immediately after preparing her favorite dishes.

Stephen believed that:  "The ears hearing something is not as good as the eyes seeing it; The eye's seeing it is not as good as the foot's treading upon it; the foot's treading upon it, is not as good as the hands differentiating it" (Shuoy Yuan).  He felt taking someone by the hand and teaching them step by step, would prepare them to soar an entire lifetime. He became a member of the "Big Whip Riders Club"  he was able to enjoy his love for travel, trucks, and cars. Although he appreciated and liked them all, his favorite remained: "antique cars".
