Dino J. "Diz" Bizzozero, age 61, of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a general maintenance worker for Brightside Academy in McKeesport. He was a member of Blaine Hill and Elizabeth fire halls and he loved loud music, cooking Italian food, and watching Pirates baseball games.

Timothy A. Sable of Erie, PA on October 18, 2019. Born in McKeesport on March 30, 1955, he was the son of the late Orrin “Bucky” & Mary Sable. Timothy was a retired school Guidance Administrator in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his brother Patrick (Mary Catherine) Sable of South Park; nephews Nicholas Hvasta and Michael (Amanda) Sable, niece Kelly (John) Tusai and cousin Sandra (Derek) Saldanha. Timothy was predeceased by his sister, June Hvasta. There is no visitation. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin, PA.

Henry R. Barbour, 71, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania peacefully departed this life on Monday, October 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Henry was born April 23, 1948, in McKeesport, PA to the late Henry Barbour, and Margaret Mikell Barbour. He was also preceded in death by his brother Bruce Barbour.
After graduating from East Orange High school in East Orange, New Jersey, Henry joined the United States Marine Corps where he served honorably. Following his return home, he was employed by Bectel Bettis Plant in West Mifflin as a technician in the liquid department.

Arlene F. Makar age 80, of West Mifflin, on October 18, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Mary (Miller) Burda. Arlene was retired from Bettis Atomic Plant where she was an administrative assistant. A member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, she enjoyed golfing, playing the piano and swimming at the YMCA. Mother of Craig Alan Makar of West Mifflin and Shawn Makar of West Mifflin; grandmother of Cody Makar. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquense 412-466-3300 where a blessing service will be on Wednesday at 9:30 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Hedwig Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish. Rev. Dan Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery.

Barbara was retired from Western Penitentiary in the Accounts Payable Department and was a school bus driver and bus monitor. She also volunteered for the Peace Corps and spent two years in Samoa. She also enjoyed shopping and going to dinner. Wife of the late Michael Mannella; mother of Michael (Debbie) Mannella of Conway, SC, Sandra Mannella of Munhall, and the late Gary Mannella and the late James J. Mannella; also seven grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; sister of the late George Bird and the late Albert Bird; sister-in-law of Mary Mannella.

Carol I. (Heller) Trappen, 79, of Elizabeth Township, died October 15, 2019. She was born December 25, 1939 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Irene C. (Marsula) Heller and was also preceded in death by her husband Gilbert C. “Gil” Trappen and a brother Harry E. “Butch” Heller. She was a retired nurse receiving an associate degree in nursing from McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the board of directors of the McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, McKeesport.

Walter Carl Motz, age 86, of Edgewood, died October 10, 2019, at the Aspinwall VA Hospital. Born November 28, 1932, in Pigeon Forge, VA, he was the son of the late Walter C. and Bernice (Moore) Motz and the husband of the late Margaret (Jones) Motz.
Walter was retired from Stuckert Towing, where he was an auto mechanic. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. Walter was a member of the Wilkinsburg Lodge F&AM.
