Frank A. Pawlowski, 77, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born September 17, 1942 in Vandergrift, a son of the late Leo A. and Mary (Kolodziejski) Pawlowski. Frank earned his Associate Degree from Alliance College in 1962 and began working for CECO and Sargent Manufacturing Co. as a draftsman and worked his way up to sales engineer until his retirement in 2009. He was president of St. Joseph Church Council, member of Knights of Columbus, Slippery Rock Campground, Duquesne Moose, PTG Duquesne Catholic School and the owner and operator of Marleno's Pizza Shops in McKeesport, North Side and Clairton. Frank enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Pawlowski. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ellen (Dill) Pawlowski; children, Frank (Claire) Pawlowski, Kathie (Edwin) Miller and Bryan (Michelle) Pawlowski; brothers, Eugene (Kathy), Robert (Paula), Dennis (Donna); sister, Patricia (David) Baumgartner; grandchildren, Autumn, Noah, Trinity and Alexis.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. and Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.

She was born February 3, 1932 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Robert William Parkins and A. Areba (Paull) Parkins. She was the wife of the late John Charles MacPherson, Jr., and the late Ronald M. Spahr. Sue Anne was a member, deacon and elder of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church and was a hugger and member of the Belle Choir and Chancel Choir there.

June Johnston Hinkle, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Kelly's Personal Care Home, Greensburg. She was born in Harrisonburg, VA, a daughter of the late Robert Boyd and Kate (Arborgast) Johnston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harman "Clyde" Hinkle. June is survived by her children, Richard Hinkle and Wylene Hinkle, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. June was a full-time Mom, an accomplished braille transcriber, a talented quilter, and an avid baker. Many will miss her ginger cookies. She loved animals and adopted several stray cats. Many have been inspired by her care-giving. June spent the first two decades of her life in Riverton and Circleville. She graduated from Circleville High School in 1947. It was in her high school English class that she discovered a love of books and became a prolific reader, especially mysteries. After moving from West Virginia, she and her husband, Clyde, spent so many weekends in West Virginia that I knew the way to Grandma's house better than the way to school. She will be buried in the North Fork Cemetery next to her husband. Services are private. Arrangements were made by the James W. Jack Richard Sutter, age 91, of White Oak, formerly of North Versailles Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, following a short battle with cancer.
Born in Elizabeth, he was the son of the late Stanley and Bertha Sutter. He graduated from McKeesport Vocational High School and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.
Following the war, he was employed for over 34 years at Westinghouse Research and Development Center in Churchill where he participated on the cutting edge of laser and fiber optics development.
He was an accomplished artist and lover of music and was physically active and involved in many activities up to the end. He was especially proud of his work with his beloved church St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Versailles where he served as an adult church school teacher and leader, worship assistant, and choir member and with Meals-On-Wheels where he served for over 25 years.

Dale T. Watson, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at his home. He was born May 14, 1926 in Irwin, a son of the late Charles B. and Theresa L. (Thornton) Watson. Prior to his retirement, Dale worked as a lab technician for WABCO and was a veteran of the US Navy having served during WWII. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Larimer, and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and watching old westerns on TV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Watson; son-in-law, William Gault; and brother, Wayne (Janet) Watson. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Rose (Price) Watson; daughter, Donna Gault; grandchildren, Stacey Valenta and Cale Watson; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Benjamin Watson and Sydney Rose Valenta. Patricia (King) Barker age 88, on August 11, 2020, at home, surrounded by her loving family. “Patsy,” as she was affectionately called by her family was the “queen,” and everyone she met knew about her big family. She worked for Bell Telephone for 42 years as a Directory Assistance Operator. She was Past President of the GFWC Women’s Club of Duquesne, Girl Scout leader and Democratic Committee member. She was an avid shopper…QVC and HSN knew her by name. She loved to travel with her husband and family, and especially her trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Ireland, and numerous cruises to the Virgin Islands. Patsy loved eating out at fancy restaurants, a good superburger at Eat ‘n Park, and being pampered at the spa. But most of all, she loved spending time with family and celebrating holidays with the people who she loved.
